This far, I've been delighted with the performance of this car security camera. I noticed that many individuals face uncertainties when choosing screen sizes and lack a comprehensive understanding of the differences between the older 3.16" and the newer 3.39" screens. In my professional capacity, I'd like to clarify the screen specifications. The dash cam screen primarily consists of a backlight panel and an LCD panel, with additional components such as cables and drive boards. I have included pictures showcasing the specifications of both the 3.39" screen and the commonly found 3.16" screen in the market. It's crucial to emphasize that the observed size of the visible LCD area does not precisely reflect the entire screen size due to a concealed portion of the backlight panel within the structure, which should be factored into the calculation. While this detail may not be the primary concern, my paramount focus is on the screen's color performance and durability. Cons: - You guys should mention that in the manual the dash cam needs to be connected to the constant voltage by the car charger or hard wire kit, unstable voltage or less than 5V might let the dash cam switch off randomly. - I recommend an upgrade to the screensaver function. Despite setting the screensaver to ON, the time is still displayed. I prefer a completely dark screen during nighttime driving. Pros: - Their support is praiseworthy, assisting me in customizing the firmware to update the screensaver - Better picture capture quality, even at nighttime In my experience of over a month of use, I believe this dash cam offers excellent overall value, especially considering its performance and the fact that I acquired it for under $100. Surprised by the quality of video of both front and rear cameras. The front camera is better and more clear than the rear but both are good, the screen is also very bright and can see everything clearly. I have wanted to get a dash cam for quite some time now but had been overwhelmed with the number of choices out there. Due to the increase in car break ins though I knew I needed to just pick one and give it a chance. I chose this one because it had the dual camera option and super night vision and so far I have not been disappointed. The night vision is clear and I like the multiple options for when the car is parked letting me pick whichever suits our needs at the time. The GPS feature is a nice touch as well although we have not utilized it much as we already had options for this in the car.
