I commute by driving everyday and the traffic is terrible in California. There are multiple accidents to and from work almost on a daily basis. That's why I got this camera. And just the other day, I saw traffic just abruptly stop in front of me. I was fine because my Volvo brakes worked really well. But I'm glad I got this camera it will be what saves me from lawsuits and legal liability. Wanted to share this with others. Easy to install and operate. It starts recording as soon as I get in the car and records through my phone. I had an old camera with an SD card that I wasn't even sure if it was working. Video quality is stellar. Parking mode was what I bought this for and it doesn't seem to work regardless of settings. Bought this and hardwired it into 2 different vehicles. The camera will go into parking mode 1fps but doesn't store them anywhere? I can access all other recordings but not the parking ones? Additionally, putting it in the impact mode to record results in nothing. Set the sensor to high and bumped and shook the car with no recording triggering. To note, the camera will not let you setup parking mode without a hard wire kit which is fine since we have one and it obviously is wired correctly because it toggles parking mode and normal recording with key on/off cycles in both vehicles. The media could not be loaded. I was a little surprised at how fancy the box was that this came in. It's a really nice looking camera, as it should be. The camera itself is really nice, and has a lot of the features you might expect from a fancy dash cam. The image quality is great, and one of my favorite features is that you can use it as an extra backup camera, which is great for when my backup camera is covered in mud or water droplets. This is good quality dash cam. The picture quality is very similar to more expensive cameras out there in the market. Really love the sticky mount which is less flimsy than Suction mount. Easy to use setup and great app support.
