I decided to use a donger adapter instead of wiring it to my fuse box because i don't really care about the parking mode so just know that if you use that route. The on camera menu is very easy to navigate and the suction cup works great for me, even on hot days it doesn't come off. This is a really nice dashcam for the price! First off, the camera feels well made and doesn't feel cheap. It's very simple to setup. Small and compact devices, nice video recording. Good quality of video. I like it.

First off, the assembly was really easy and considerate to my car, my old one had a strong adhesive which left some residue on removal, this kit comes with an electrostatic film that just clings to protect your windshield. The instruction guide was simple and straightforward. The resolution is gorgeous at 2.5k @30 fps, with an option for 1080p@30fps which I chose to save memory. It's still very clear as I can see from the camera screen. It comes with a 32 gb microSD, which is great. Has some pretty interesting functions that I haven't used yet (hopefully won't have to), like sensitivity settings for collisions so it auto locks the video and saves it for 1-3 minutes that you can set. There's also a parking recording, my old camera only worked while the car was on, and this one seems to be holding a charge well enough to help you record an accident while parked. The instruction guide says it splices multiple pictures in time lapse rather than recording a full video in the parking mode, which I'm guessing is for power savings. You can view and save/delete videos from the screen, which is very convenient. It even has a daylight savings time setting for the time, which is not that big of a deal but a nice little addition for falling back or springing forward. I ordered this cause I've been sideswiped on the highway and the other car tried to say it was my fault. But with this now I can have video proof. The camera quality is good, it records audio well. I have bought a couple of these before but ended up returning them because of the setup. But this one the setup was so easy. And you don't even have to use the rear camera if you don't want. The screen and video quality are better than I expected. And the whole thing is out of sight, fitting right behind my rear view mirror. I love that this has a second camera to record what’s going on behind you. It’s easy to install and hides nicely behind my rear view mirror so there’s nothing blocking my view like some of the other cameras I’ve used in the past. It’s a little tough to get the SD card out if you don’t have nails, so if you bite yours like I do, keep a sim removal tool or a paperclip handy to get it out when you need to. This camera comes with static cling sheets so you don’t have to permanently adhere the camera to your windshield, so you can take it with you in a rental car. It works just as well without the rear camera, so if you switch vehicles it’s not a problem to leave the rear camera in your main one. ... show more
