It's a great and cool product but i've ordered it twice and both headunits seemed to be letting my audio cut out for some reason I dont know but my stock headunit works fine with my speakers and doesn;t cut out so I think their is a problem with these headunits?

Car Model: 2013 Accord Touchscreen w/o OEM Nav The seller was prompt in addressing the issues I had with the head unit. Addressed Issues: Odd Interference coming from speakers, Lane Watch Camera not working Solution: Seller provided the correct harnesses to address odd interference and provided guidance on how to update the firmware to enable Lanewatch. The installation was fairly straight forward, the adapters initially provided are plug and play for certain models. However, the adapters that came with my head unit were not compatible with my car model. It is a good looking head unit but don’t let that fool you like I got fool. Before I start with my experience I think I should let you guys know I went to an expert (sound system store) to install it. And it cost me $300. All these functionalities you see all of it only possible if you connect WiFi. And every time I try to connect WiFi, WiFi turns off and connect to car play. And finally when it connected I had to turn off my phone wifi and Bluetooth. So basically you can’t enjoy Bluetooth connection and WiFi (play YouTube & watch videos) at the same time. Also the factory navigation system is a Chinese navigation system which can’t even find any address. I tried searching for 5 different addresses of NYC, it can’t find any. It also completely changes the view of the back up camera. And you can’t do anything about. Before I had option of 3 different factory view but now I am stuck with 1 and funny looking view. If you still decide to put it in your car remember even after all the wiring call receive, hang up, and dial button of your steering wheel doesn’t work. It is totally not worth the money. Not recommended. If I could I would return it right now but I would have to pay another $300 to uninstall it and I’m not willing to waste that kind of money! ... show more

Man, this thing is an awesome LOOKING concept but the actual device is terrible. I ordered 2 of these radios hoping that the first one was just defective but they both functioned exactly the same. When you first install it/plug it in it will turn on and work with no problem. I spent an hour playing with all of the settings and checking everything out. You can connect the radio to your phones hotspot so that the radio has a data connection but as soon as CarPlay launches it turns Wi-Fi off and disconnects from your phone. Car play works great through Bluetooth and USB but it’s such a hassle to figure out which one is the best option. The main issue: After playing around with it I called it a night and went to bed. The next morning I drove to an appointment and the radio never turned on. I saw the first splash screen and the buttons lit up but the screen went black and stayed black. I turned my car off multiple times to try to “reboot” the radio and it stayed black. When I got home and backed into my driveway the radio came on. I was hoping there was just a loose wire. Triple checked everything and it all looked good. Once I pulled the radio out and unplugged the main wire harness and plugged it back in it powered right on. Turned the car off and back on and it powered up again. I left the car for several hours and started it up to leave and it would not power on. At this point I ordered the replacement and started the refund process. Over the next 3 days I had about a 50% success rate on the first start. When it didn’t start I would yank the whole unit out and disconnect/reconnect and it would work great until I turn the car off for more than a few minutes. There are so many PROS to this thing but it has to actually turn on and that is not consistent or reliable. Don’t waste your time or money. ... show more

    • Radio and clock issues

It greatly improved my sound system, love the apple car play capability as well. That being said, it has its issues. First, it changes your top screen format to this ugly font and you can’t change it. Second, the clock likes to revert back to 24 hr on its own which is very annoying. Third, the radio doesn’t work so now I can’t listen to radio stations if I want or go to the drive-in movie theater… lastly, the back up camera guide lines no longer move with the wheel which is very annoying. All in all it’s almost not worth having if it sacrifices a lot of OEM capabilities. If the manufacturer can reach out to me about possibly fixing some of these issues I will gladly change my review to 5 stars, until then 3 stars. ... show more
