Great and easy replacement compared to other after market options that were available. The first year all was great and I was really enjoying the radio. After the first year and a few iPhone updates and now the wireless CarPlay is hit or miss. I will start the car and notice the zlink app not auto start or stay stuck on the waiting screen. Only solution is to install a third party app to bring up the power menu and restart(real pain). Before this would only be necessary once in awhile but now it can happen multiple times in a day of driving. Sometimes turning the hotspot on the radio off and then back on helps but not always. Outside of restarting I can plug my phone in and wait as it tries to pair but shouldn’t be needed. Beats my stock no gps head unit but pains really get to you. Support is great but no suggestions or update files have completely resolved the issue. ... show more

A couple of caveats: first, the car I installed this device in was a 2019 Honda Civic hatchback EX-L. Second, your results with this device may vary. I suspect that I received a device that had already been returned once, because certain key components necessary for a successful installation were missing from the box (such as the Canbus module, one of the USB adapter cables, any cable that would have worked to adapt the AM/FM radio and the manual). I tried to communicate with the seller regarding these issues, after I installed the device. I didn't really get any useful information in response, although they were certainly friendly and personable enough-and then after a couple of days, the device screen went black and stayed that way. I tried holding down the RST button for up to 3 min, holding it on startup, etc. Nothing worked, so I asked the seller for advice. I received the following odd and somewhat alarming reply: Thanks for your reply. Sincerely sorry about this problem brought you bad user experience. To better assist you, please confirm the following information: 1. How long have you pressed the RST button underneath the microphone? Is it over 15 seconds? or longer? 2. Please tape a short video when you do the following operation: Disassemble the unit and show all the parts inside the unit, especially the core board. Then please send the video to us via e-address. The address was offered to you in our previous letters. Please check the attachment marked "2US" in previous letters. Thank you for your time and cooperation in advance, we look forward to your reply. Best regards, Saita Navi---S This made me somewhat suspicious, to put it mildly. I don't know about you, but I have NEVER in my entire life heard of ANY electronic device whose warranty isn't immediately rendered completely null and void if it is completely disassembled by the owner. So I contacted Amazon, and regretfully, returned the device. Car : Civic Hatchback Sport 2018 USE AGAMA LAUNCHER WITH THIS DEVICE FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE!!! It makes everything much much better. Pros: -Huge improvement to a base radio -Fast interface -Wonderful support, quick responses to issues -Easy plug and play install -Retains wheel functions with slight alteration -Beautiful screen interface -Rear parking camera view has an active guide -I have not experienced any crashes with this Cons -Expensive -Does not work with ALL bluetooth device. The bluetooth is not fully integrated. CANNOT DETECT KTUNER, BLUE DRIVER OBD, OR OPT7 LIGHTING APP DEVICES. -Rear camera is distorted because of the huge resolution, I used the 1st option as it's the best looking -Air condition pops up every now and then -Occasionally/frequently does not connecT to phone hotspot(YMMV. After using the agama car launcher, I've had no problems) -Car play is slow sometimes freezes I would love to give this a 5/5 but the bluetooth integration ruins it. If it allowed all devices to connect then this would be perfect. 4/22/2022 Still fully functioning with no problems on my end. This unit is amazing!!     • Constant crashing and infinite boot loading until the system asks to be factory reset.

EDIT: Got a replacement after a couple hours with support. The new unit behaved much more like what I expected out of a $600 head unit. I’ve had no issues at all except sometimes when I start the car the bluetooth does not connect to my phone but restarting fixes it so not too bad. Only had the unit for a couple days and each day I’ve had to factory reset it after the system tells me it could not start up Android (boot takes 10 minutes before it reaches that point). Currently not worth the $500 upgrade from my Honda Civic 2016 LX’s bluetooth head unit. When the device was working it was buttery smooth and wireless CarPlay worked great. But if I have to set it up everyday then I cannot recommend this product. I have contacted the seller and will update my review if I am able to get it working properly or get a new unit. ... show more
