I have owned the 1,000 Watt version for years and use is a lot every day...so much that I really depend on it. I bought this smaller 700W version just to keep on hand as a spare. It seems built well like its big brother. I did notice that everything takes a bit longer to heat; but that's to be expected since it operates at a lower power. I put it in service for a few days to make sure it worked, and now it's boxed up in storage until I need it. It will heat two coffee mugs side by side, or onw dinner plate. If you have room for a bigger one, get the 1,000 watt version and you can heat two bowls side by side and heat food and drinks much faster. TIP: Put something like rubber under the feet to keep it stationary when pushing buttons. ... show more

    • Small, but works for most of my tiny-home needs
So far, this microwave has been working fine--but it is small, so keep that in mind. A microwavable popcorn bag fits, but once it starts popping, it won't turn with the turn plate because the corners of the bag catch on the interior walls of the microwave. I live in a tiny place with only a kitchenette (no stove or oven and very little counter space) and use this, a single burner hot plate, and an InstantPot to cook all my meals. I have this on its own shelf of a freestanding microwave stand. Only been using it for 3 months or so at the time of writing this review, but I'm happy with it so far (except for the popcorn, which isn't that big a deal). I hope it lasts for a while. Only used to heat coffee once or twice per day After approximately 4 weeks the instant on buttons stopped working but entering the cook time manually still worked yesterday it stopped heating anything at all barely two months old and now will go to trash

Why don't more manufacturers offer the single serving or small jar or in this case, the small right-sized microwave! It fits on a 12" shelf, the cord is long (comes out the right back side), and has all the important basic features! It's also significantly more quite than my last 10 year old small microwave.
