So far I don’t have anything really negative to say I am a little concerned about the two extra inches for the carry-on bag however, you just make sure that you keep it under or at the 9 inches and you should be good. I bought two bags to compare and this one was the bigger of the two so I decided to keep it and return the smaller one. I just got back from a three week trip overseas and I loved this bag! I traveled around a lot, not staying more than 2 days in any one location, so I packed and unpacked many times. I stuffed this thing, using packing cubes (not compression ones either) and there still seemed to be more room. The best thing I found, was that the zipper zips in the middle, halfway between the lid and the bottom when it's completely full, so I can use the packed lid side to compress on top of the already packed bottom when I need to smoosh it to get the zipper to close. This made closing the bag so much easier. I hope that makes sense. Sometimes the lid is just a covering over the bottom and you only pack in the bottom, but this bag has lots of packing room on both the lid side *and* the bottom side. I didn't try to carry it on the airplane tho. I checked it and it came thru just fine. The wheels were much better than I expected. I never used the cup holder because I always had another little bag on top of this suitcase, so the cup holder is not a huge value add. ... show more

Perfect suitcase for business travel as well as pleasure. Looks nice enough for business travel with a little flare to make it different than everyone else's. Nice having the expandable compartment, Great for two nights worth of packing. Or keep it compact for one night.

When packed with expansion zipper not used, the luggage falls over when parked. Supports on bottom are too short so luggage leans forward and then falls. Also bottom is susceptible to damage when going over curbs or other uneven terrain. Seller did accept return - thanks.

Superlight and wheels are very quiet and roll easy. Never had a split case with a zipper in the middle but it works pretty well. Only thing to keep in mind is you may need more space when you are in the hotel as with clothes in both halves it takes up a bit more space open vs luggage that's not split in half. ... show more

Not sold on a suitcase that doesn't fit on any suitcase rack. The clothes are evenly distributed between the top and bottom of the case. Like a book, it must be open at all times to access either side. When it's open it doesn't fit on the rack. If it's on the rack closed, then when you open it the rack tips over due to weight distribution problems. Can only be kept open on the floor.
