Was casting it on Lake Mead on a megabass 100 and caught a 5 pound striper ..a complete surprise as I was just testing the reel on a light setup...the reel was awesome no stress in the reel and pulled the fish in...just well made. Only negative was the material for the reel collects dust and it does not clean well after heavy use...still love this reel. ... show more

If it's within your budget, there's no better reel for the money. Just like they say, light and tough. I have other LT reels from Daiwa but this one doesn't have any stem flex like the others can.

Started out as a awesome reel for crappie jigging, but just after the return period closed, the anti reverse began to fail. So it made it a month before it became a paperweight. Diana dropped the ball on this one.
