One thing to be aware of with the Daisy F16 slingshot is the likely hood of a sharp metal burr on one or both tips of the metal rod where the band slides on. I have 3 and all came with a sharp burr that cut into the rubber band causing it to break prematurely. It's a quality control issue that Daisy is not likely to correct because it will require an extra manufacturing step that will add a few cents to the cost! So the solution is for you to file or sand off any sharp burrs before slipping on a band. The slingshot itself is sturdy, but the bands are nothing special. Some of the aftermarket bands are significantly cheaper with similar or better life span. ... show more

One of most important tools to understand and enjoy no matter your age. My first writst wrocket I was able to sneck by the hadware cleark gave me a wink like he almost know what was going to happen, Here is the jist, The slingshot is a weapon. Havily ammo dependant on that catogory (marshmellows vs steel ball bearings) it is quick to see the sling shot has a spectrum of desstrucion which ranges from comical to someone off to a hospidal or a local dead animal noone is willing to clean up (looking at you suburbia) its not your 19.99 one you buy from nerf either that you really cant figure out how to even make it shoot..... MY POINT- Awesome sling. PERIOD. great price, i have oved 3 and had only one snap back on me, simple constrution, _______AND Verisitlity of use I personaly have use this mini pebbles or sand on golf courses and beaches to clear birds If you have a boat and are sick of birds landing / pooping on docks (its own uniqe paintball) shoot it at your friends with clay or dirt, pebbles just have fun with it at the same time, dont shoot your eye out, seriously, i did that. ... show more

Fun to shoot! Id buy again. For youngsters...Requires pretty good hand strength. My 4yr old wasn't able to really shoot it but still had fun 'launching' balls. 6yr old did better but still hard for him, especially with a new, stiff elastic. We also have a wrist rocket - sling shot with the forearm support... my 6yr old was able to use that style much easier and had a blast. ... show more

My kid got his drone stuck 35 feet up in a tree on the second day he had it. (Basically every kid with a drone is the same a Charlie Brown with a kite.) Did some internet investigations and was amazed to see the rescue effort could involve justifying a purchase of a high quality slingshot, which I always salivated over when I was a kid but was to poor to afford anything besides sticks on the ground. I bought this slingshot (based on reviews here), a fishing weight, and some fishing line ... my second shot was so pure it almost brought me to tears, arcing up to heaven and gently returning with the fishing line right on the branch holding the drone. My kid thought I was a god. And with a good Daisy slingshot, I am. The drone did not make it past it's fourth day. (Flown too high, caught by a breeze and taken into wild blue yonder, a tiny little dot like a lost balloon until it finally plummeted far away into a random neighborhood.)
