I spent some time looking at many different E-bikes. This one was collapsible and I'm limited in space do was a great feature. The battery life seems to be great. Love the fact that this bike can go 20+ mph and when you start to pedal the battery increases. Very solid frame with a smooth ride due to independent suspension. You can adjust suspension as well. The fat tires are amazing especially for the beaches here in FL. If you looking for a decent E Bike at a reasonable price than look no more. I had an issue with the led light and horn but customer service had me a new one in under a week. I have yet to recharge the battery since I purchased the bike over a month ago.     • I-M-P-R-E-S-S-E-D !!!
I searched somewhat seriously for a few weeks before I decided for the Cycrown. The bicycle arrived much faster than anticipated and was very well packed. No damage. It would help to have two people pulling it out of the box... pretty tight there. The quality is obvious as soon as you unpack : this is a well made bicycle. If you are not mechanically inclined, have a bike shop assemble it for you. I have dealt with many products requiring assembly and there is always one thing or two that require a bit of skill. In my case, the wire powering the display was too short. So, assembly is not very complicated and there is an owner's manual present. It's not very well done, they hardly ever are, and you too might be puzzled with where the key goes unless I tell you : the key goes underneath the frame and the electrical system won't turn on without the key (which is great). The hole to charge the battery without taking it out did not align with the connector and I had to re-drill it. The welding was in the way. No big deal and it might not be the case for yours. The tools provided (good idea) are of extremely poor quality and disposable. Use your own set of Allen wrenches if you have one. It's metric though. I decided not to mount the lights. Perhaps consequently, the horn does not work. The first few miles convinced me that I had made the right choice. The bicycle is strong and very comfortable. If speed is your objective, it might be a bit too slow for you but 20 mph is quite reasonable for most people. The fact that it folds is not a plus for me, but it probably is for many people. Apparently, in my price range, the 20" x 4" always fold. That's fine. It certainly won't break there. The brakes squeaked a bit for the first few miles. Parts getting to know each other... I sent an email to the company about the helmet. They responded within 6 hours. The helmet ships separately. So, go for it. I hope this helps. ... show more

Arrived quickly, fast setup. Amazing value at this price point. Lighter than other most e-bikes and foldable at 65 lbs. No frills, solid performance and comfort from wide seat, adjustable front and rear shocks. Handle on the frame makes folded carry and storage easier. Headlight very bright, 4” ballon tires great for sand and off pavement stability. Adjustable Rear and front shocks with a padded seat make a very comfortable ride. The style: amazing, and I highly recommend getting the rear rack to accessorize and add drip. it's heavier but somehow still speeds past other ebikes. Charging time is reasonable, and the battery lasts long enough imo. The customer service is incredible. They’ve been super helpful and responsive, way better than any other --ebike&co out there. I had some issue out of the box that required parts replacements to fix but their customer service was very responsive and kept trying to help until all of my issues were resolved. They even shipped a few replacement parts that I assume were fairly expensive until the bike was working properly. It's a solid ride and well built product. The strong attributes of this e-bike have been extensively covered in other written and video reviews. I will clarify and add to them as follows: 1. Yes it comes with a right-hand twist-grip throttle in addition to "pedal-assisted" (PAS) throttle. PAS is activated by crank rotation not pedal pressure (no actual load is needed) and has significantly delayed response (both on and off) compared to the twist-grip, which provides finer control and much shorter response delay. 2. Yes, contrary to another review, its pedals are foldable, which is extremely helpful when loading the folded bike into an SUV back gate. 3. Yes, the speed limiter at 20 mph can be removed; steps are included in the instruction manual. The 5 "power levels" are actually different speed limits, all preset except for Level 5 which can be adjusted upward to 50 KM/hr, thereby removing the limit. 4. Yes, the battery level indicator has an unusual behavior of adjusting downward in real time when the motor is under strong load. Reliable readings of remaining charge are best obtained when the motor is at rest, not under power. 5. Yes, the bike was received beautifully packed and largely assembled. The biggest challenge was snipping all of the zipties to get it out of the box. Remaining assembly was easy.
