Mounted onto my atv. You will need an additional bracket to mount it to whatever atv you have. Everything was perfect and easy to mount. I will say the wiring is really vague. I would appreciate the color coding according to the wiring diagram, or clearly label the wires. All in all, I would recommend it so far. This 4000LB wench can't do what it says, it is a piece of garbage. Save your money and buy a different wench. This "4000lb" wench cant even lift our 500lb golf cart up the truck. It literally takes 10 minutes to move the golf cart up about 10 feet. We had a 2500lb wench from Harbor Freight that worked great until the cable twisted so we thought we'd upgrade to a higher weight for more speed. WORST decision we have ever made. The remote cuts in and out no matter how close you are, the wire connection is not very long (maybe 2 feet??) Just a piece of crap! I would return it but can't as we modified the plug to fit into our truck. Didn't realize this would be the worst wench we have ever bought. DONT BUY IT - GET SOMETHING BETTER !!! ... show more
