  • Holds its zero extremely well
I put this on an older Marlin Model 60, this rifle is deadly accurate. The scope on improved my accuracy. I have picked off squirrels and groundhogs with clean head shots all season long. The scope is well made, it holds its zero extremely well, and it's rock solid. I'd strongly recommend this scope for anyone looking for something to go on a .22, .22 mag, or even a 17 hmr ... show more

  • this is a nice scope for the money
this is a nice scope for the money. I put it on my crossbow and it has a nice profile , not to big or small.it was easy to sight it in. I would recommend this scope. I posted pics so you can get a better idea how it looks in normal light condition.

  • I love this scope! (Pictures included)
This scope is amazing for airsoft. I use this scope on my sniper rifle, and use it at my local fields. I attached images to show you the zoom on this one. (My pictures did not do too much justice for the cross-hairs, but I assure you they look much better in real life) If you are debating whether to get this scope for airsoft, hunting, etc. Get it! ... show more

  • Excellent replacement for sloppy "Center Point" Crosman Air Rifle scope
I replaced the Center Point 4-9X scope that came on my new Crosman Guide Hawk 22 Cal break barrel air rifle with this scope and it works beautifully! I could not hold a group of less than 3 inches in diameter using the CP because its extreme parallex error (aim point shift), and very bad optical distortions . Slight variation in head position causes large shifting of the CP aim point, and I could not achieve a clear focus except at the lowest magnification (4x), with or without my glasses. Even at 4x the optics were poor, with aberration distortion at the edges The CVLIFE scope mounted easily, held a precise aim point and has crisp/clear optics. After shooting a few 5 shot groups, the rifle was on target with tight groups of less than 3/4 inch at 50 ft. The price was amazing ($16, purchased 21 Dec 17, Prime). The scope comes with high mount "see-through" with 1 inch rings which would be useful if you wish to use fixed sights on your barrel. My rifle had none and I used the Center Point rings to mount the CVLIFE scope. Anyway, I am very pleased with the scope’s initial performance. I will follow up this review after the scope has experienced a few hundred jolts of "break-barrel recoil'. Chuck McB ... show more

  • Will not hold zero!
I mounted the scope on my Ruger 10-22 and am well pleased with the results. For the price I don't think you can beat it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't come with any instructions. Having some experience installing sights and scopes I didn't have a problem with it but someone installing it for the first time might have difficulty figuring it out. For example, if the attaching screws are over torqued they can be stripped and parts can break. This is an update: After using this scope a few times I have to change the rating I first gave it. The scope will not hold zero! Just when I think it is zeroed in it will change and has to be repeatedly readjusted. This is not the first scope I have mounted and made sure to use Loctite on all of the scope and rail screws. Save your money and pay more for something better than this... ... show more

  • Update 11/4/17 Work in progress
Update #2......I want to thank CVLIFE for sending me a new scope, and after finally getting to the range, I have to say it does the job. Adjustment controls worked as they were supposed to, and I was constantly shooting 1 inch groups. Dialing in a scope without a bench rest, as I found out, is frustrating......and that is on me.....but overall I am happy with the scope. Price on sale was awesome. Finally got it mounted and on the range. Out of the box test, set a target at 25 yards, took 3 shots........and not a single hit. Set the target at 10-12 yards, 3 shots, 6 inches low and four to the right. I am new to scopes but have centered in iron sights and red dots....but I can't seem to get the horizon dialed in, no matter which way the dial spun, it never got better. Vertical is better but needs work. Basically I got fed up and played with a different toy. Update: Shortly after posting this review, I was contacted by CVLIFE (yes, they contacted me) requesting more information so they could try and solve the issue I was having with their scope. Updates to come. ... show more

  • Great transitional product for a smaller shooter.
I put this on my daughter's 10/22 that she uses for Appleseed. (Think 350-400 rounds over the course of a weekend.) She is 9 years old and just transitioning into a magazine-fed rifle from a bolt-action. We were concerned about weight, so we used scope mounts the screw directly into the reciever rather than a rail and rings. It is only about 7" long and does not lend itself well to adjustment within the rings. Once she grows into a full-size stock, we'll replace it with a rail and a higher-dollar scope. For now, this is great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. After more than 1.000 rounds, it is holding zero. I was initially thinking that I would toss this one when she outgrows it; but, who knows, it may just be one of the good ones. ... show more

  • Not made to last
Purchased in March of 2018 and has been working great on my Savage 64f .22 lr up until today. Went to the range to plink around and about 30 rounds in I noticed the scope had lost its zero and was shooting low. I put loctite on all screws when I installed the scope/mounts and everything seemed to be pretty secure still so I was sure it was solely the scope. Since I've purchased it I hadn't needed to zero it again and it was spot on, so I figured I would just do it again and get another 8 months of no maintenance. Then it went way out of focus to the point where everything just looks like blobs. It seems like something inside has gotten loose. I can't hear anything loose but the scope is now completely unusable. I thought I was going to get a solid fixed scope for the price since I've had no issue until now, but it seems like there is cheap internal build quality. I transport the rifle in a padded soft case and there are no visible impacts so I'm not sure what happened. I could understand if I put this on my .308, but a .22lr has minimal recoil and this shouldn't happen. UPDATE: Upon closer inspection it seems something inside is loose, I can hear something rattling around. ... show more
