The adhesive I gave a 4 because it is too strong. I remove the paper by curlying the mat back. The paper still curled and didn't flatten on its own. The mats came with a plastic scraper and weeding tool. My suggestion is to use scrap cardstock pressed a few times on the new mat to pick up some of the adhesive and/or leave behind lint. The adhesive is far too strong for me but I'll keep the mats with the intention of using scrap cardstock first. ... show more
