This is the 5th one I've bought for my fleet of sleeper trucks. The LCD screen removes and has a cat6 port to plug right up for the OEM sleeper screen in the cabin next to the API controls. Easy to wire up to ignition and Shore power and best of all my drivers love it. It powers their microwave, fridge,Tv and Xbox with no issues, no over heating or trips. Installed with my old cables cos the one provided are way too short (you nee to put the inverter on top of batteries) and it didn't worked. Was making some sort of alarm sound and display was showing low battery ( my batteries are not even one year old and truck was running. Dashboard gauge was showing 13.8 V) Took the inverter down and connected wit it's own cable (the short ones) and now display shows 12.4V. You pay almost $400 for it and they are so cheap and not throwing an extra few feet of cable? ... show more

I had an issue where water got into the control head. It’s most likely the most common part you would need. Going online I could not find a replacement part for it. It appears there is no back up on parts.
