This came with all the parts as far as I can tell. Looks like it will be fairly simple to assemble if you have assembled one before. If not however, it may be a bit of a frustration and worry. There were no instructions with my kit. I would have preferred some. I haven't put it together yet due to lots of wind and lack of instructions. The parts don't really seem as sturdy as I was hoping. I don't know how well it will stand up to the midwest wind. We'll see how it looks and holds up when I can figure out how to get it together. ... show more

easy to assemble with pieces that are reasonable quality. The instructions were pretty minimal but they show how to assemble everything. The product page gives additional information on the intended use of some of the extra support material that is included such as wire ties, and clips. When set up it seems reasonably secure, but with the bottom stakes only going in about 4 inches I worry a bit about how stable it will be under high wind conditions once you have some vines on it. I added some extra support by running some support strings from the top of the cage to additional stakes in the ground just to be safe, but it is probably not necessary. This trellis. 66" tall (less thsn that, or course, when pushed into the ground, is easily put together. One needs to figure out the fitting configurations, and save the pointy straight poles for the base. It is easy to mske a short 'cage,' or a medium size, actually, U van think of a minimum of four variations using all of the poles, and a few more using less. Thet threw in one extra fitting of each type, and the netting is quite good. As you put it together, make certain the poles are completely and fully seated before going on. Instructions not clear, the picture would be helpful if it wasn't blurry. It goes together ok, once I figured it out after some mishaps and having to start over. It is sturdy but not sturdy enough for the height. Cucumbers and squash are heavy vegetables and will not hold up under the weight without extra support. Not a worthwhile purchase unless you use it for flowers. ... show more

This is a really great trellis. It is plastic covered metal tubes which make it sturdier. It was very easy to put together. The size was perfect to put in my garden bed. It comes with trellis net, clips, and zip ties. I think it will work great for my cucumbers

This trellis is better than a lot of the ones I've been getting lately. It's design makes it to be a lot sturdier. There are many pieces and the instructions could be better but it's pretty intuitive. This will stand up better against strong winds than others I've used or tried. The pieces themselves are also better in quality. For the price point, I was actually surprised at how well this turned out. Would recommend! ... show more

    • Just Right for our Large Raised Bed
Now that it's nearly spring here, we're looking to expand the usefulness of our raised bed planters, and this unit is perfect to take up nearly all of our largest bed. The extra large size will give us tons of growing space for climbing plants like cucumbers, or other plants that need propping up like tomatoes and eggplant. Like many "cage" type supports, the unit has the typical rod and joiner assembly which is easy to put together, but what made it stand out to us is that the kit also includes a large net that covers the whole unit once it's assembled. Not only does the net add a ton of extra grip points for self-climbing veggies like cucumbers, but it also really helps to make the entire unit more sturdy, especially if you zip-tie the unit to the net like we did.
