As a long time gardener who knows DIY projects along with the real "Time Cost" of the DIY projects, I can say this is a quick and inexpensive alternative to shopping all around for the little parts that would make something like this up on your own time, plus making it all fit together. Sure it not the most sturdy heavy duty approach like buying 4 x 8 metal grids and heavy lumber that will last for many years. But this is all you need to get a quick and fun vertical garden up. You can tweak it from there on the cheap yet get fast rewards growing your favorite climbing veggie(s) on this. It was cold and snowing when this arrived so I could only do a box check on contents which this has all you need except a more secure way to secure it to the ground against those occasional high wind summer storms that can even carry away your heavy duty lumber A-frame Trellis. But that is where common sense comes in. Too bad you can't grow that... because we all know it is not all that common. But for the price and time savings verses the high cost of a DIY version or store bought mass grown low food value veggies this is a good deal for your own organic grown food. ... show more

    • Great for gardens!
This trellis is a great way to get your vining vegetable plants off the ground and onto something sturdy that you won't have to continually mess with all summer. I have a small garden, so this trellis is a space-saver. I can't fully put the product together until summer (at which time I will update), but I looked through the box and all the pieces are there. The instructions appear to be easy to follow and allow some freedom in choosing the size of your trellis. I plan to use the whole thing, but you can make it smaller if you like. The pieces are coated in plastic-type material over steel, so I would think it would last a while. It is pretty lightweight, so I plan to anchor it down. I did not see anything included that helps me anchor it down, so I will have to get creative with stakes and/or zip ties. I really like how the frame of it is quality, so if the trellis netting ever deteriorates or breaks, I can use my roll of nylon netting and just attach it over the frame for extended use. I plan to use this for cucumbers, and I also want to try a trellis for zucchini and squash. You can also use it for indeterminate tomato plants, beans, and other vining plants like flowers. ... show more

    • Great easy to assemble trellis
I was actually quite surprised how sturdy this trellis setup was. It was very quick and easy to assemble and I feel it could hold up to some of my more heavy trellising plants. I like that everything is plastic coated as it will make all the components last longer and be easier to clean. I also like that it is easy to disassemble and put away for winter as I don't have to lug around a huge object and I can rotate my crops easily to different areas each year. I'm probably going to end to getting a couple more of these and I think the price point is very reasonable. ... show more
