Cubitron outlast the standard sandpaper disk by at least 4 or 5 to 1. I have a Bosch sander and I not only does the cubitron outlast the paper disks but I also see far less gummy up or build-up. I have used 80, 120, 180, and 220 grits and they are all great. I will never go back to the old paper sanding disk again. Also less time in sanding to get to the same level in finish. If anything you really need to let the your sander to the work and make sure your orbital spins or you're applying too much pressure. You do this and your sanding will become enjoyable. Hook and look held well. Lasted much longer and still sanded well. Also liked the small dust collection holes, didnt snag on a sharp edge and didnt tear.

These hold together well with an electric sander and tend to rip sections off if caught on a sharp edge. When I'm done sometimes one will pull off in four different sections as I ran it too long. All in all though, good stuff.

i purchased this item back on 12/4/20 I just started using them 4/13/21 Icant keep them on my bocsh 5 inch hook and loop sander . I called 3m rep . He said that i had to purchase new velcrow backer for my 5 inch bocsh sander.I found one the cost was around 30 dollars. First of all these disks are almost a dollar a piece very expensive. i have been using 3m products for years very happy with them,however they really dropped the ball on this product. Trust me dont wait use this product as soon as you get it dont wait. I have used other 5 inch velcrow sanding disks for years never had any problems. 3m should say you have to have 3m velcro pad for your sander. Shame on you 3m ... show more
