    • 2.3 amps is all you will get
I like these chargers, they are good but this one only puts out 2.3 amps max. You need on a car, the 4.3 amp version. Smaller batteries like a motorcycle or other small battery you can use these but, why wouldn't you get the 2 amp more charger that you can do everything with? Same price, more power, just the same electronics which is good and the charger will do more. I like these chargers they do work well, are safe and keep the batteries fully charged without overcharging them and killing them. They are fully electronic and limit charge cycles and rate. I have installed a few for friends and myself and I love them and have confidence in them. Use them all the time in a car that sits for awhile before being used and it works like a charm. The potential for extending battery life and keep working in top notch is what these are supposed to do and they do work. I have not seen one battery fried by these that I have seen on other chargers either. ... show more

    • Decent trickle charger
Look at the specs carefully this is a 2amp charger which for car batteries and lifepo4 100ah batteries is a trickle charge. It works fine for that purpose but don't expect it to charge a depleted battery quickly.

    • Just get one for your motorcycle
I have been utilizing the C-Tek charging brand for over 10 years. While the newer models don’t seem as robust, they continue to perform flawlessly. I have several vehicles and motorcycles with these chargers and all have not only maintained, but have extended battery life. In S Florida heat, a typical battery is good for 2-3 years service. I am getting 4-5 years out of my batteries with these chargers. I recently went to the CT5 for the motorcycles when the plug type, name brand, green with yellow letters, started overcharging the batteries. Only downside is no SAE connector unless you spend another $15 for the comfort charge adapter. This should be standard issue for a power sports charger. ... show more
