  • Awesome Crucial1TB NVMe M.2 SSD!
Capacity: 1TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
I purchased this Crucial1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD to use as a secondary file storage drive in the new Beelink SER8 Mini PC that I recently bought. This is the same exact 1TB Crucial SSD that already comes installed in the Beelink SER8 Mini PC as the boot drive, so they match perfectly. Also, since I have seen this question asked many times now, and I don't actually see the M.2 SSD slot size specification in the Amazon listing anywhere. This Crucial SSD is the longest size 2280 M.2 form factor. However, the M.2 2280 specification is actually shown on the Crucial SSD in the listing photos several times, but product photos aren't always accurate. This should hopefully clear up any confusion about the actual SSD size. The Crucial line of products are all made by MICRON, one of the largest and highest quality memory manufacturers in the world, so they are all very high-quality computer memory and storage drive components. I usually either purchase Samsung or Crucial memory and storage drives when building or upgrading computers. However, Crucial components always seems to be "on-sale" for nearly half the price as the equivalent Samsung products (as was this Crucial SSD), so most of the time I wnd up going with Crucial just for that reason. This Crucial SSD installed easily into the second M.2 NVME drive slot on the Beelink SER8 Mini PC motherboard. It was also immediately recognized by Microsoft Windows 11 Professional on boot-up. This Crucial SSD initialized and formatted (GPT/NTFS) with no issues at all. Once up and running the file transfer read and write speeds are very fast, and the drive temperature stays relatively cool under burn-in stress tests. Also, for those reviewers complaining that the actual capacity of these Crucial (or any other brand) SSDs is lower than advertised, that is perfectly normal. Due to computer "math" and memory overhead in any type of storage drive, the actually capacity will always be a little less than the advertised capacity. I have been an I.T. professional for over 25 years, so I have a lot of experience dealing with this drive capacity "issue." Overall, I highly recommend these Crucial SSDs, as well as all other Crucial products. These Crucial SSDs are easy to install/configure, fast, inexpensive, and they run cool. In fact, I still have some older 2.5 inch Crucial SSDs that have been in service for over 12 years, and they are still running like they are brand new. Pick up one (or a few) of these Crucial SSDs today. Trust me when I say, they are a great product! ... show more

  • Super good!
Capacity: 2TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
The media could not be loaded. I needed something fast and large for games, streaming, recording, and vid/audio editing so I got the 2 terabyte SSD. It runs smoothly, was easy to install, stays at decent temps, is fast, came with a screw for installation, was easy to format and install OS and drivers on, and was compatible with my system. It's a great value for the storage and I really trust crucial, never had a hard drive or ssd fail from them. My papa (computer tech person) likes them too and has used a lot of crucial brand storage devices through the years with no issues. I used it in my build which I posted on YT, my channel is carisneat123 and the video is titles: Carisneat123 | First PC Build | goodbye low fps gaming If any one is interested in the unboxing, installation, software download, and usage. It passed all my stress tests and is downloading games like Cod, warcraft, ark, and more in under an hour. (Only can go so far with the WiFi speed on these) And it transfered 500gb of pictures and data from my old SSD in about 2 hours. ... show more

  • Fast and solid (state)
Capacity: 4TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
Works well in thunderbolt 4 enclosure, seeing 2500Mbps read and write speeds. Doesn't seem to get too hot. Price can vary, best to wait for the low dips. Good SSD.

  • Nice price point and great performance

This was a good buy and use it for air gap backup/disaster recovery of my data. Would recommend. I use Crucial memory for my Synology NAS Servers, too.

  • Works on Asus, had compatibility issue with Gigabyte
Capacity: 1TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
I purchased this for my wife's PC which has a Gigabyte Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI motherboard running the latest BIOS. Cloned her old drive to this with a USB adapter but when installed it won't stay on. The PC goes into a power cycle loop, no POST, no display, on for a few seconds, clicks fully off, on, off, indefinitely. Put old drive back and booted, but BIOS settings were cleared because of an error. I ended up installing it in my PC with a slightly newer Asus board after cloning the same way and booted fine. Long story short, don't buy if you have a Gigabyte Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI, otherwise it seems fine. ... show more

  • This is a great SSD
Capacity: 4TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
My word demands that I test databases configurations, MS SQL server , MySQL, Oracle etc, so I have a mini lab in my laptop based on virtual box, I was carrying two USB SSD, it was a mess and if I forgot one, show was over. So getting this new 4TB make my life easier and the lab runs faster than before. Installation easy in my HP. So I recommend it 💯 ... show more

  • Solid choice
Capacity: 4TB Style: P3 Plus Pattern: SSD
I've used a few of these now, and for good reason. They may not be the fastest drive, but price to performance for a 4tb drive, this really can't be beat. Using one as a back up/external drive for the wife's PC. Also using one as a dedicated game drive for the sister in laws PC. No issues with either drive and they've held up well to some basic torture testing. Would definitely recommend. ... show more
