Review update: after submitting a warranty request and the company seeing my review customer service reached out to me and replaced the unit immediately. I am thankful the company has honored their 12 month warranty and provided me with a replacement within a timely manner. At first when I got this ice maker this was a godsend. It made ice quickly and worked great. I am now about 7 months in for using it and now the machine is flashing the light for the water indicator even though the reservoir is full. I tried pushing the on/off button numerous times to get it to cycle but nothing works. This machine supposedly has a 1 year warranty but customer service is non responsive. They don’t have a phone number so I have to rely on email. I sent an email 3 days ago and have not gotten any response. I am highly disappointed with the longevity of this machine and the lack of help from customer service. Do not buy this product. ... show more

    • Fix one problem, but created another
If you know anything about the Duval and St. Johns County (FL) water system, you know it’s terrible. Hence we don’t use the icemaker in our fridge even though we have a water softener system. The only water we drink comes from a separate tap hooked to an osmosis system. We were spending a fortune on bagged ice and realize that this item would pay for itself in less than seven weeks. The problem is, though it makes ice rapidly and efficiently, it’s noisy for first the first hour you use it, and it doesn’t get cold enough to keep the ice from being “wet“. So when you transfer it to the freezer, it makes humongous brick that you constantly have to break up… Look at me complaining about my first world problems ... show more

Update - Crownful has made this right and refunded the purchase. I am so happy with the response and emails I received from the company. I will not only be buying another ice machine, I will be buying a larger one since we determined this one was to small for us. Thank you so much Crownful for responding and making things right. You have been fantastic with this issue. I only left of the one star due to the device did stop working before a year was up, otherwise you would have gotten the full 5. I look forward to my new purchase and giving a full 5 stars. Have not had the machine a full year and it has quit working. I have tried to contact the company on multiple occasions without any response. I loved it in the beginning when it was working. It was great. Then the tray quit moving to dump the ice and the machine would not make ice anymore without the tray working. ... show more

10/03/2022 update: I sent the maker an email regarding the issue and received no response. After 2-3 weeks of silence on their end, I went ahead and posted my 1 star review. Soon after the poor review, THEN the company contacted me. We had a few emails that went back and forth and I received a new, replacement ice machine within 2-3 weeks of their first email. They never did refer to my email. I’ve had the replacement machine a few weeks now and so far, so good. I waited a while to update my review because this machine is running louder than the previous one and I wanted to see if it was because it was protesting, lol. Still a bit loud, but working well. Should that change, I will update again. Knocking off a star for the fact that although I meticulously followed instructions regarding emailing about the faulty machine (I had to include the order number, model number, etc) the company only responded because of the review. (And since sending me the new machine, have emailed me numerous times to ask how things are. A link to my 1 star review is always included, but they have never asked me to change the review.) ————————————————— Original review: This ice maker worked so great - until it didn’t. It’s as though it knew when we wouldn’t be able to return it. It produced ice quickly and used the melted ice to create more, which was they type I was looking for. Just after the 30 day mark, the ice it produced was more flimsy. Thinner. After about a day of that, the machine still stayed on and seemed to be going through all the same motions, but no ice was ever formed.
