Please excuse the state of my back patio but after recovering from the excitement of a heavy tree I can’t budge an inch myself almost fell onto my house, I’m just so thrilled with this tent! I bought this tent to keep my patio leaf free when I fire a small kiln outside (it’s on the cart in the pic). The kiln was at 1390 degrees when this tree fell. Imagine this rotted tree falling directly onto a kiln cooking at 1390 on a dry day. This tree weighs at least 300 pounds and is at least 20 feet long (like it fell with the momentum of something coming down at that height). The pics show the damage to the tent is actually fairly minimal (but probably won’t still be usable). I bought this tent to keep LEAVES off my patio! It saved my kiln and potentially my back door from a falling tree! After seeing this, I’m definitely rebuying this tent and recommending it to everyone I know in need of a tent. GET THIS TENT. (For regular tent needs, this is easy to set up, holds up great, it’s been outside for like 4 months straight through storms and sunshine even though I’m sure that isn’t part of the instructions and it’s been really reliable and hasn’t faded or rusted or anything) ... show more

No doubt, the best canopy I have ever purchased (3 decades worth of fighting junk canopies). The legs are coated for easy up/down movement for assembly, locks into place. Easy for one person assembly. Red snap units to keep top taunt to prevent rain from getting trapped. I'm so disappointed-- after doing a lot of research, we had high hopes for this tent. It was definitely easy to set up and it looks good, but ours broke the second or third day of use (see pic). We thought we could duct tape and then still use, but the next time we used it, more of the rods broke. Update: the company reached out to me and sent me a brand new tent!! What happened was apparently unusual and we are grateful the company stands behind their product. :) ... show more

    • Best one-person canopy tent!
I have been through several canopy tents over the past years. I need one frequently during spring and summer due to competitive outdoor sports with my dog. I need a tent that I can put up myself and although several purchases stated "easy to assemble for one person" they were NOT. But this one IS! At 72 I can assemble and take down this canopy all by myself in just minutes. The frame is metal which is a huge plus. I do find the cover a bit thin as I already have a slight tear and I wish the case was totally enclosed and on wheels, however these negatives do not outweigh the ease of assembly for me. I will use the bag of my previous purchase which broke and I received placement parts (without instructions) from China months later but am so frustrated with it I won't fix it. This 8' x 8' fits perfectly over the hatchback door of my Volvo so it is an extension of my SUV. ... show more
