This is a really great fake plant. I resisted getting a faux monstera, killing two real ones in the process. Finally gave in and ordered a faux one. This one looks almost as good as the real thing! Once you fluff it out it’s very lifelike and looks great mixed in with real plants too in your decor.

I needed something to stage a house so tried this. It’s the first time I’ve ever purchased an artificial plant. It looks pretty great. I think having a large appropriate pot makes it look more legitimate. Adding some dry moss around the base would probably look better. You can bend and maneuver the stems to make it more realistic looking. I’m a plant person so I probably wouldn’t keep it in my house since I have tons of real ones. Looks real from about six feet away. Only looks fake on closer inspection. I put this in front of a window, and when the light shines through the leaves, you can actually see veining! It looks really real in the afternoon sun. I just had to arrange the stems and leaves to hide the most plastic looking joints and underside of the leaves. It took about ten minutes of moving a leaf this way, taking a step back and walking around it from the angles most often used in that room, then walking back and arranging the next leaf, and so on. But I eventually got it to where everything you can casually view looks real unless you're a foot away. Considering the low price of $69, this feels like an absolute steal! ... show more

    • OK if you glue leaves in place

Love the look but several leaves have fallen off. I purchased this in April 2022 and immediately placed on my concrete patio, which is covered above by a large deck, and which isn’t enclosed. It fell over several times from wind so I placed it in a pot which I then filled with pea gravel to conceal the pot it came in and weigh it down. Since then, without it falling over, several leaves have come off at different times. I’ve taken to cement-gluing them back in place (hot glue and super glue didn’t work). Another leaf recently came off so I think I’ll just glue around all the others that haven’t yet come off when I go to put this one back in. No fading has occurred but I always keep this in shade. These were the first artificial plants I’ve ever purchased, and I couldn’t be happier with them. The pictures on Amazon are very accurate - you get what you see. While I would’ve preferred the leaves to have been a bit less shiny - a more matte finish would render the plants more realistic - they certainly perk up a room much like the real thing would. I never expected artificial plants to add such warmth and ambiance, so I was pleasantly surprised. Now I can’t wait to purchase another one or two to complement these!
