Arrived in Excellent condition. Easy to assemble, perfect for what I needed it for. I ordered 4 of these bc I wasn’t sure how many I would need and ended up returning 2, it takes a full month to receive your refund and even though I returned these to UPS on same day & time they pushed one refund longer. So one was refunded at 4 weeks, the other won’t be refunded until 3/17 which is 5 weeks after I returned them tying up over $200. That is my only complaint so far. Will update on wear of shelves after some time passes ... show more

The box came with the bookshelf very well wrapped and protected - bubble wrap around each shelf in addition to the entire piece, styrofoam padding, etc. One piece of assembly advice - either leave the bookshelf laying down on the floor to assemble, or at least lean it against the wall at an angle so the shelves don't all fall forward before you're ready for them. This is a nice shelving unit. Once you are able to get it out of the box and all ! the bubble wrap removed it is very simple to put up and it looks nice. It’s not quite as stable as one might like, but they have put a nice hole in the back frame with the suggestion it be screwed to the wall to increase stability. Assuming one has wall space available. I don’t, but I put a half cement block on the bottom shelf, and that seems to hold it down ok. I think it may be more to pit nice objects on than for Hard Core Storage. I’ve told the cats that it is off limits to them. 😺 ... show more
