Ordered July 23, received September 19. The ball is “lopsided” and when bounced veers to the side instead of back toward the bouncer’s hand. Wasted $13. Very disappointing.

    • I bought two of these balls for my 3 year old twins - here is what I have learned so far...
I have boy/girl twins that have just turned 3. So I ordered 2 of these balls. (The red dog ball and the green animal ball). We just received them and my kids are outside playing with them right now. Here is what I think so far (and I will update in a couple of weeks if anything changes): Colors: The colors are pretty accurate compared with the photos. They are cute! Size: It seems like the perfect size for a younger kid. They are just grasping the concept of "playing catch". They can throw the ball pretty accurately, but it is hard for them to "catch". However the size of these balls makes catching easier. Small balls are harder to catch - and when balls are too big they are overwhelming to catch. But this size seems pretty comfortable for them. They catch these balls better than any other ball we have. Texture: They have a texture to them that make them a little more "grippy". That 'grippy-ness' makes throwing and catching a bit easier. I appreciate the texture. Arrived Inflated: Some balls come flat - which is annoying for a kid to have to wait. (Delayed gratification is not a 3 year old's strength!!) But these balls did come inflated. Not super inflated (they could use a bit more air) - but inflated enough that I don't need to bother right now. Summary: I am glad I bought these balls for my kids! UPDATE: My husband added a TINY bit of air to both balls (e.g., you can still press the ball in, it is still a little soft) but one of the balls lost it's round shape when he did it. I am so disappointed because this is a really great ball otherwise. But basically the rubber is not strong enough to add any air to the ball - which I would consider a defect. What a shame because I really liked this ball!!! I am lowering my score from 5 stars down to 3. I hope this is helpful to you! ... show more
