  • Game changer if you prefer or have to play I'm handheld mode
Color: Retro Purple
The media could not be loaded. So I'll admit I waited until these were on sale to get one and I'm sad I did since this product is worth every penny for folks with big hands who have to play in handheld mode a lot. I have the switch Oled and the console slides in very easily, and there is a switch on the rear you need to press to get it out. I have tried other joy con attachments but this beats them all! There is a nice heft to the ckrd that isn't too much weight and on the rear of the console is 4 mappable buttons that are very convenient. The case is sturdy and comes with a very nice USB C, for different thumbsticks with different patterns which are very easily changed, and of course the guide to help you set everything to your preference (I had to turn down the rumble feature a tad). What surprised me was that you would think this would drain the switch's battery but it really doesn't make a difference, even so on the rear are two USB C ports (an input for charging or another wired controller, and an output to use the attachment as it's own wired controller when the switch is docked) I love the retro GameCube design as well. Finally, some people may enjoy the fact that you can connect this go an app and see how "rare" your attachment is by getting the exact product #, manufacturing date, etc. Also you can connect to your pc to get firmware updates when CKRD makes changes and little bug fixes. Overall this has made my gameplay much more comfortable and I will buy another when the Switch 2 comes out if it is not compatible. ... show more

  • Amazing product and made my switch so much more comfortable and playable
Color: Retro Purple
Not only is this a very aesthetically pleasing case, but it plays so well if you have big hands, the normal switch controller are very small and hard to use if you have a big hand and use any type of grip that they sell this fixes it completely some people complain about the placement of the Cstick. If you have a bigger hand, I promise you this will not be a problem if anything I would rather it where it is now then where they have updated it on the new ones now I haven’t played one of the new updated ones but I absolutely love mine. I received it a few weeks ago And I love it. ... show more

  • Good quality
Color: Retro Purple
This is almost an excellent product, but a few quirks set it back. First issue I have is ergonomics. While using the left joy and the face buttons are fine, in games that use the right analog and dpad causes cramping after a few minutes. Not a huge deal as it is present on the Joycons too, but why not improve on the ergo if you have obvious faults of the joycon right in front of you? Second issue and this is a mild one is the rumble. The rumble isn't overly loud, but it feels cheap. Hd rumble has finer control. Tiny rumble - pounding rumble. The Nitro has different settings for rumble, but each setting has just one strength instead of finer strength control like HD rumble. I can live with these two issues. They are not deal breakers since the rest of the product is excellent. Plastic quality is nice. No issues with molding and it has a matte texture to it. The rear grips have a micro dot pattern for even more grip. This grip is put together well. Buttons are great overall. Joys are hall and have little resistance. I don't mind resistance or low resistance. it only takes a few minutes to get use to. The Joy sticks are smooth and they do not grind against the housing. Face buttons are decent. medium travel and medium click sound. They are not mushy. DPAD is decent, but you can get miss clicks since the DPAD is of the looser variety. It's not bad though and I would label it average. I like the triggers. They are analog, but you can set the click depth. They are perfect and super smooth and quiet. The shoulder buttons are easy to press and are click. The rear buttons can be disabled. I don't use them. They overall control quality is great. Programing and settings are nice. You change stick dead zone, rumble intensity, disable buttons, switch for wire to wireless and more. This controller is feature rich. Charging is good. I like that the charging port is moved from the bottom to the top back. Pass through charging works fine. This is will save wear on your OEM charge port. In summary, this is a great overall controller grip. The only thing that made this 4 instead of 5 star is the ergonomics on the bottom controls. I love the look and quality, and I like that the console is protected along with the charge port. I will use this along with other controllers moving forward, with this being my main controller. ... show more

  • Fried My Switch
Color: Crystal Pink
Gave this to my daughter for her Nintendo Switch, before she inserted the Switch into the CRKD unit she was charging her Switch using the official Switch charging cable. In order to show her how to use the unit we read the instructions and inserted the switch into the CRKD unit. We then plugged the official Switch charging cable into the input of the CRKD unit as the instructions say. She played for a half an hour and before going to bed we removed the Switch from the CRKD unit. We immediately plugged the official Switch charging cable in only to find it would not charge. We tried her brothers official Switch charging cable only to find it still would not charge. We tried several other chargers with no luck. Her switch was charging just fine before using this thing and now it appears that the charging port is fried on her switch and there is no way to charge it. We tried plugging the Switch back into the CRKD unit only to find that it now wouldn't work on the Switch, probably because it fried the charging port which is the same port the CRKD unit plugs into. Now right before Christmas I'm going to have to buy her a new Switch. I do not recommend this product and advise you to stay far away. ... show more
