  • NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES
The series was exciting all the way through. If you like a lot of killing, with criminal conspiracies & undercover helpers, this is for you. Good acting, but the plot really stretches the imagination & scares the hell out of you. All versions claim to have subtitles--THEY DON'T.

  • Love series as much as always, maybe more! Specials are 'OK'. Not impressed with the packaging.
As a box set, it's 'meh'. You expect specials, but these are mostly pretty pedestrian, though a few are interesting. At least they tried. Anyway, I'm happy. I have the series and this is my second favorite show of all time after BtVS, so I'm grateful to have it on DVD where they can't 'withdraw it' or remove it from availability at some later period (something that has happened with books people *purchased*) Possession being 9/10ths and all that jazz. If I ever find it legal to download cheaply at some point, i probably will do that as well, since nothing lasts forever. Regarding the package. Nothing cool or stylish. Just plain old gray CDs for all three series (I got SB and season 1 of BB as well) ---------------- I will say I have had WORSE packaging... including DVDs slid between slits in cardboard (MASH and Stargate) (some of which arrived scratched) Sad, because the box sets were gorgeous on the outside! I ended up purchasing blank cases for both those series. I've also had sets that just fell apart (Supernatural and One Tree Hill). Both of those also had mislabeled disks, something I didn't discover right away... I ended up rebuying one season (in the other case, they had all the disks, but they were labeled the wrong seasons) The best are Buffy and Angel box sets. One disk per CD sized page, arranged in a booklet per season and bound. Beautiful artwork on the disks and the box set. A booklet with episode descriptions. THERE'S NONE OF THAT IN THIS SET! --------------- >> (CM) THE GOOD: Nothing was damaged. (But I think that was just luck because each season box is unstable) THE MEH: The seasons come with interlocked 'leaves' that can come unhinged (probably so they can vary the number of leaves/pages in sets) But the fact they can (and do) unhook is annoying and means that they can shake loose and slide around, causing damage. Open with care. note: if your 'pages' have come loose, they can probably be hooked back together by sliding the small tongue back into the edge of the next page. Add to that, the fact that they're packed in such a way that you have to take one of the disks out to get to the one that's partly below it, is also annoying... and adds to the potential for disk damage. (2 disks are on both sides of each 'leaf' and overlap each other.) some of the disks are very tight on the spindles... so you have to be very careful in GENTLY tugging them off. _______ I still think the Buffy the Vampire collection box set is the gold standard for a box set for a series - it's still in one piece and I bought it in 2004! But I know I cannot complain too much. After all, us old farts who want hard copies of things are not the target audience anymore. I'm happy to stream... until it's not there anymore. I cannot think of a time I won't want to visit with Morgan, Rossi, Baby Girl, Prentiss, Hotch, Spence, Tara and the entire crowd... Watching the progression from season one through the end shows such an amazing development of some of the most interesting, complex characters ever created for TV. There are a handful of shows that leave you feeling as if you're visiting with family when you watch them. Criminal Minds, Buffy & MASH are a few of mine. ... show more

  • Seem to be packaged well.
Seem to be packaged well in fact they're a little hard to get out. Seems like they were copied at different times by different people. Occasionally there's a few commercials, some with several shows on them, some with two shows on them and I think one continued episode might be missing the first part. Could never figure out how to find find it. Do enjoy watching this show. Going to take me forever to get through all of them. Still on the first box. ... show more
