The side is missing the bracket to hold the top half together. Sturdiness is not good for the cost of money. Contacted the seller regarding this issue as well to solve the problem because my child is pushing on the bed at time and the top half is coming off and could break the bed. From the ratings I was hesitant but really wanted this style bed so just went for it. As long as you make sure you know what size frame you’re getting, it’s great. Pretty nice quality for the price. So the bed frame itself is so cute but one side of the bed frame did not have the lock part on the top so the side board and head/feet board have a gap as pictured. Overall I’m sure will work for me since I just placed that side of the bed against the wall but if the bed is out in the open if a child were to lean on it, it would collapse.
