I bought this because my son was ready to get away from the normal vinyl crib/ toddler mattress. It was also second hand and we wanted to buy him a brand new one that he would like, so he helped me choose this one. I did buy a quilted crib size mattress protector for it just in case, as he was still having the occasional night time accident. So far so good on that part. It's comfortable. He's not tossing and turning as much now and looks forward to going to his bed every night without protest and it's able to wake to go to the bathroom at night. He's a hot sleeper and hasn't woke up sweaty since he's been sleeping on it, even though the room is kind of warm during the spring and summer months. I think this helps a lot in all of that, since he's more comfortable now. It comes vacuum sealed in a medium box. Pretty lightweight. Clean. No rips or other defects. No factory smell. It inflated to normal shape pretty quickly out of the package. The corners took longer to come back to shape, so if they don't right away, it may take a few days longer. I don't see this being a huge problem for an older child, but it could be for ones still young enough in a crib. It fits snug onto his frame though. No gaps. There's no springs. It's just like an adult foam mattress. Plenty firm enough for a child. Not so much for a grown adult though lol might work well for dogs too, as others have used it for, although I wouldn't say it's firm enough for ones over maybe 90lbs. My 75lb boxer laid on and it sanks about half way down. The outer fabric is smooth and soft. He loves it, so it was worth buying to me. ... show more

kid loves it. soft but firm enough. good value for money. for 5inches, it was super comfy for me and baby (i have to be with him until he falls asleep). good size mattress perfect for the batman toddler bed we got. holds its shape well and quick to expand.

My kids loves it It's super confrontable, perfect size for the cribs ,it's not noisy it's likes a the material is like makes like a spring bed material but a foam mattress the quality is a great and it easy to clean but I also like to get the bed sheets that are water proof to put on them to keep them protected even more and It's very nice together *I put the picture of the sheets i recommend to go with them its nice to I have especially when you kids are young and have accidents or make messes * i definitely recommend to anyone with younger kids ! So much better then the plastic spring mattress ones but that's my opinion ... show more

I bought this for my granddaughter for her toddler bed when she needed to be done with her baby crib. It was so easy to open up, just carefully cut into vacuumed sealed bag, and it comes to life, lol It didn’t take it long at all and it was full-size in her bed, she actually was able to sleep on it the same night now wait needed. It’s so comfy even her older brothers have said it’s nicer then the mattresses in their bunk beds.
