I got this matress for my 4 yr old Great Pyrenees. He needed something, other than our bed, with great support to help prevent hip issues (along with supplements.) This has great support and cushion. It is firm, yet very soft for his 130 pound fur baby body! I also got a cozy pet calming blanket to go completely over it and he seems very cozy and really like his new bed. He wags his tail while he fixs the blanket to his liking before laying down. :) I'm happy if he is happy! .... also, I was a little concerned it wouldn't inflate like it was supposed too, but after almost 2 days it was perfect. *He also has already thrown up on the protective waterproof cover and it did NOT leak through and was really easy to take care of. It seems very durable and with him being much harder on it than a baby, I'll be thrilled if I just replace it yearly and this definitely looks like itll hold up for a good year! This was purchased for a toddler bed and my daughter had been sleeping great on it. It is not waterproof so I have it in a protective cover. Overall, great toddler mattress for the price.

Compared to many other crib/toddler mattresses this one is super soft and comfy while also being supportive. It’s not super thick but is still very supportive. I like that it has the cover that comes off to wash. The only complaint I have is that I feel like it didn’t expand all the way but it does the job! Really improved my daughters sleep ... show more

This bed is firm yet soft! I made the switch tonight from my son old mattress (waterproof so it made a lot of noise and would puff up aa you changed positions on the mattress). I gave it 4 stars because it did not form fully all around. It was about .25-.5 inches off on one corner and it remained slightly curved from how it was rolled up in the box. However, I still say buy it if you want a firm and soft mattress. The top layer of the mattress seems to be good quality and it’s very lightweight. We've been using this about a week, and it's great. It unfolded to the full 5 inches (I measured) in barely an hour, so I let my son sleep on it that night instead of waiting the full 3 days. He loves having a big boy bed (just transitioned from crib) and seems to sleep on it great. It feels comfy like my Casper mattress when I sit on it, and I weigh a lot more than my kid, so I think that's pretty good! No smell, either, and I'm pregnant with a sensitive nose! Update: We have had this mattress for about two years. My son still sleeps on it every night, and it's still a great mattress. We bought another for our second child about six months ago, and the quality is the same. Very pleased with these. Update: We've had the first mattress for just over three years now. My son doesn't sleep on it anymore (has a twin), but it's under his loft bed as a cozy spot for reading and he still loves it. It's still very firm and supportive, even after three years of use by my toddler, our 100 pound dogs, and my husband and myself squishing in next to him when the kid won't sleep, or laying on it on the floor to read and play. This is a way more affordable option for a large dog bed than buying an actual xxl dog bed. The cover is removable and washable so that’s a huge plus. You do have to give it a couple days to fully expand but it’s worth it. My dog is a 95lbs mutt and she loves this mattress.
