This is a great little set to keep as an EDC. It’s a little big but it packs a big “turn”. It could use a little knurling, just to help with grip, and ease of use. But it is a great looking set! This is a heavy duty wrench and it has saved me in so many situations! Works perfectly! Great quality for the price you pay! Has some weight so you know it’s tough but lightweight enough to not lug you down. Fits great in my tool pouch and easy to use!

    • Great addition to your tool box
Having been working on my vehicles for 60 years, this set is an great addition to your tool box. Will it replace your other socket sets? No, but use it one time and you will keep it handy in your tool box along side the sockets you have had for years. Use it once and you will say, where has this tool been when I was working on ____ (fill in the blank. In my most recent case, these made strut replacement so much easier. The top of the piston has an Allen wrench opening to keep it from spinning. But using a regular socket, there is no access so out come the locking pliers to hold the piston. But you can scratch it and damage the piston. These sockets allow you to tighten the nut while securing the piston from spinning. Now, why didn't I think of that? Add this set to your tool box and you will be surprised how may uses you find for them. ... show more

    • It works, but sockets get stuck
A thru socket for any length thread is a very nice idea. Much faster than having to use an open end wrench, making partial turns at a time, because deep socket is not deep enough, but socket release is inconsistent. Sometimes socket comes off ratchet handle easily, other times it can be wrestled free, sometimes requires tapping to release. Im guessing its a build quality issue. Guess I shouldnt be surprized for under $30.00, but it is made by Crescent. I have battle scarred Crescent wrenches that work fine after 50 years of use. ... show more
