My hair may have turned silver but at least I still have some! I go from sometimes a moderately spikey look to neat, with a defined part. But it's hard to find a product that keeps it shaped the way I want it because it's straight as a poker. I've tried lots of products and most of them have failed to do what I want or are so ridiculously expensive, it's not worth it to me. The Cremo Company has really impressed with their great shaving creams so I figured I'd give them a shot at something that could keep my hair from looking like a grenade went off in it. Sure enough: this stuff just plain works. It takes a very little amount (I usually apply it when it's still wet) and it holds well and doesn't look too shiny. Style: Thickening Paste
I have medium length hair and typically use paste or pomade. I like low shine, medium hold that does not look like I am wearing "product". I also like my hair to feel natural and not stiff. This paste does a good job on all accounts. I had to play around with how much to use. The directions say to use a "nickel" sized amount, however I found that much product makes my hair feel too stiff. I use about a dime sized amount while my hair is damp, and it works great. It does work to "thicken" your hair, if your hair style permits. I part my hair to the side and then back and it does add some lift. It has a very light, almost unnoticeable scent. It is easy to wash out. It is priced competitively compared to other pastes and pomades. I like this and would recommend it! ... show more

Wet your hands, grab a little bit of clay with your index finger and rub all over your hand. Run your hands through your hair and comb/blow dry. You will have well styled hair within 3 min. I've used spray and gels that won't let you control your hair the way you want, leaves your hair stiff and hard, or drys out your scalp so you feel you need to wash your hair or you will get a pillow dirty if you sleep on it. Just needed a little something to keep my stray hairs in place. This filled the bill. Took off one star because it's just a bit too solid to get easily on my fingers to use on my hair, but works well without scent or shininess or gooiness.

My fiancé always uses gel on his hair for work. This has become his favorite one and he is quite particular! It leaves his hair so soft and keeps it perfectly in place. We have it on subscribe and save. Amazon has it cheaper than our local stores too!!

After moving away from gel, I’ve always been told to try pomades and wax for my hair. I have thick hair and I’ve tried different different hair products but they all seemed to be messy, smelly, & sticky. Cremo’s paste was perfect and it holds, makes hair look natural, and it washes out easy!

works best with dry / damp hair... not fully wet. washes out really well. Smell is great. My hair stays in position the whole day. Even with super strong gel my hair usually looses volume because of the weight of the gel. This is perfect. The only thing that isn't great is that if you touch your hair... the product gets on your hands and transfer to other things like your face and ears. The consistency of this is more like a lighter whipped moosey type clay. Not anything like the other "clays" I have used, but I do like this and what it does for my hair. It is the one I use when I want the looser clay control and not so much the "clayness" in my hair. More of a "run your fingers through your hair" type clay.
