  • Very nice
This product came as described. I broke one of the links and there are no extra. I would recommend adding at least one extra link. The directions were so small that I had to take a photo to enlarge them. The directions are way too small and blurry. Other than that it went together and fit very nicely. Fan is strong. ... show more

  • Does the job for a reasonable price
My only complaint is the poles are a bit cheap and one bent as I was putting it together. It is a very tight friction fit. Other than that it is a fabric cover with a zipper. Not the best but for the price point it works. Only complaints is that the ventilation is kind of a joke. At a minimum I think you need two fans to create a cross breeze to better circulate and move air out. ... show more

  • ABSOLUTELY WORKS!
Does exactly as I had hoped! No more smoke! TIPS: Be sure to push the rods all the way in to the connectors, or you will have a heck of a time fitting the cover. Was not excited about all the creases in the tinted vinyl window...but fixed that with no problem. Before putting the cover on the frame, put a single layer towel on a hard flat surface...unzip the tinted flap...open it and lay the flap over the towel. Put another open towel on top of the flap. Take an iron on medium heat and slowly move across the towel...heating the flap and using mild pressure and iron the wrinkles right out! Start with low to medium heat and check often. It will take a few minutes, so be patient! Do not let the iron touch the tinted flap!! This worked for me. If you are not careful, it's on you! Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Missing pieces, Weak connectors, Poor craftsmanship.
This is effectively a tent with multi segment poles, the connectors require so much pressure to seat the poles into them two snapped, in addition it came short a connector and to top it off the canvas top was sewn short and is smaller than the frame by about half an inch. So even when repaired and an identical replacement connector was fabricated it can't even fit on the frame without all the mid rod connectors flexing and straini g the plastic to near failure. I have had amazing luck with creality 3d printers and engravers but they really dropped the ball on this enclosure. To make it work im custom building a frame out of small metal conduit pipe. 2/10 would not buy again or recommend. ... show more

  • Great Value!
This enclosure was very easy to assemble and is very effective. It leaves lots of room inside for the engraver and the fan included provides lots of suction to pull out the smoke. Its hard to beat at this price tag.

  • Nice cover but missing a few pieces to assemble it
Nice cover. The zippers are wonderful. Very good quality. Sadly the person or machine boxing put in two many of the wrong parts and not the ones I needed to assemble the tent poles. I had to design and 3d print my own. The fan is really under-powered to expel the smoke out a window. I suggest upgrading to a better 4" duct fan. Don't try and use it in your main living space you will regret it. For a simple tent its a nice well put together product. The only way I could get the missing parts was to return the whole thing and wait for a new one. Waist of money to ship a large item when all they needed to do was send me 4 little pieces. But thats not how the world works now. So i made my own. ... show more

  • Decent enclosure
For the price it is ok. Not quite what i expected and the assembly instructions leave much to be desired. But once i figured it out, it does what it is supposed to do.

  • Good once set up but with quality control issues
The final product seems to be working well for my intended use which is basically, allowing me to run my cutter/engraver inside without the fume problem. I'm mostly cutting paper and cutting/engraving 1/4in wood so I'm not as concerned about the fumes as I would be if I were dealing with other materials but even with that, doing this stuff indoors certainly leaves an impression and doing it anywhere else presents challenges with the need for a tethered computer. This really does seem to help with that quite a bit. I was expecting a complete enclosure like the ones they sell for their printers but this is actually more of a hood. There is no bottom and it just sits over your cutter. This is good since it means setting everything up and putting it all away when you don't have a full-time dedicated space is easier but it also means you're not dealing with a completely sealed off space, either. Just the same, it does a pretty good job. Having complete protection from the laser is also nice in a place where a curios pet or two might need to be locked away for the safety of their eyes. The fan which has a USB plug works when plugged into a USB adapter and does draw the fumes out but I think a stronger one would have been more effective. I might look at some sort of upgrade for that in the future. Having said all of that, there were some problems with what came in my order which resulted in me having to order twice. The first box was missing one of the corner pieces needed for assembly. Since I had things out of the box and unwrapped already, I decided initially just use the corner piece from the new box and ship the rest of that back for the replacement but upon putting the hood on, I noticed that three of the places where the velcro pieces were sewn were crooked and backwards meaning they'd have to be twisted around in order to attach like they should. I took the one out of the new box to see if it was better and it was but despite being sealed in plastic, it had some sort of orange-white flaky stuff on the outside. I decided to go with that one and all it took was a damp cloth to remove that stuff but it's weird it was on it like that. When going to attach the fan, I realized that was also missing from the fist box even though there was a plastic flange for the other side for it to screw into along with the ventilation tube and clamp to attach it. In the end, between the two boxes, I was able to piece together one good working hood/tent and it does work pretty well and at about a quarter of the price the more substantial enclosures are going for. I now have a safe way both in terms of fumes and in terms of environmental light to run my cutter/engraver and that ultimately, is what's most important. Assembly wasn't difficult but the instructions leave a little to be desired, just because there are a lot of specific lengths of pieces that need to go together very specific ways and they're represented by numbered bags you open which correlate to really, really tiny numbers printed on a half sheet of paper. My recommendation would be to turn to Youtube for a video of someone putting it together before opening anything inside the box and you should have it done in under 10 minutes. If you start taking pieces out of their numbered bags, you could be in trouble since the pieces themselves aren't labeled. Creality is kind of known for being an affordable hobbyist brand where hobbyist is shorthand for requiring tinkering to work so my experience doesn't exactly shock me but hopefully they get their basic quality control for this pretty simple product figured out and it would be nice if they maybe used a full sheet of paper for the diagrams and instructions on assembly. After the minor headache of reordering, I have what I wanted, though, and it's working great and Amazon makes returns/replacements easy so I didn't worry too much about getting this eventually worked out and I don't think you need to, either. Just be aware that it might not be you if you run into an initial problem. ... show more
