I was having issues with my prints lifting off the bed during the summer months with the AC running. This tent did the trick. It wasn't too expensive and was big enough for my Ender 3v2 and filament dryer box. I added an LED kit to the frame to make seeing inside the tent easier. The only issue I have with it is the poor sewing. You can see light emanating from the seams, indicating there's still a gap. I haven't had any more issues printing PLA. We'll see how it does with CF Nylon and ABS ... show more

    • Follow instructions. Door side is #2 poles, not #1. Its not hard to put together.

I will admit I did not really read the instructions at first. Its a simple thing to put together, however as I started putting the cover on I notices it wasnt fitting very well I was worried about everyone else who had problems setting this up. I then looked at the instructions to see what I missed. I had the door on the #1 bars which are longer than the #2 bars. The door goes on the #2 poles. Then it fit perfectly! It does still fit snug but its not breaking at the seams. It is a little bigger than I originally thought which is okay, I need the height because I have my filament at the top of my printer. I have a 2018 model CR10 V1. I didnt get this to print ABS I got this because I believe the fireplace in my Den is causing my prints to warp up off the bed. I havent printed anything yet, I will update once I get some print time but for now, Its got a 5 star for easy of assembly. ... show more

I've had this enclosure for almost 2 years now, it is just what I needed to keep my printer from heating my room and keep the noise from the motors down. I can't hear a print when it's running and all the hotend and plate heat stay inside. I've never had a problem with the printer overheating and have run hundreds of prints in there. It's very sturdy and easy to use with the velcro top for quick access to the filament, I have a top feeding spool, and there is a big zipper door for when I want to take the printer out or get to the control panel. ... show more

Frame must be so tightly together and the fabric doesn't pull over. I had to assemble the frame in the fabric. Its so tight that the seams are stretching. I broke one of the plastic connectors trying to get the fabric on. The zipper needed a lot of work to get it on right. While I think it will work for it's intended purpose, it's way more difficult that I expected to install. I do appreciate the metal poles instead of fiberglass. It feels stronger. I do wish there was an access hatch in the back to load filament. ... show more

    • Easy to put together, keeps it warm
I'd had my eyes on building an enclosure for awhile more for safety and dust than anything. I printed for months without problems and now started having adhesion issues which I realized was likely due to finally reaching winter with my printer. So I decided it was enclosure time, right about the time this became available. It's only day one with it, but my adhesion issues on a specific piece haven't occurred yet (farther into the print than I was able to get before) though I did also install the BLTouch at the same time. The enclosure was VERY easy to put together, fits the Ender 3 Pro well and I was amazed at how warm it was inside when I unzipped it. I'm excited to try printing with other filaments (besides PLA) now just because I can! I put LEDs I'd had for a vanity mirror that I wasn't using inside the case and my octoprint gets an even better image than it ever did before thanks to the reflection all around. Definitely worth it over the hassle of trying to build your own. ... show more

I love sovol's printers, but this enclosure is a creality product. I should have seen that mark of the beast. Frame went together easily enough. Putting the outer tent on though was a disaster. Step 1 is to put the bottom on by flipping it over. Easy enough. Step 2, lay it on it's back and put the other 4 corners on. Done. Step 3, zip up the door. That's when things went wrong. There was an ~8cm gap on both sides. Thought maybe I did it wrong, started over with it rotated 90 degrees and that definitely wasn't right. Managed to shove the frame inside with the zippers partially started, although that pulled on them so hard you can see the fabric ripping away from its stitches in one photo. Made it about an inch more before one zipper broke. Trying to pull the other zipper around squeezed the frame so hard two pipes bent and the bracket tore too. I'm just going to make a new frame for it after I fix the zipper, I'm so frustrated with this I don't even want to deal with a return. Sovol, you make great stuff, don't ruin your name carrying this junk. ... show more
