I purchased a used fiberglass truck topper that I soon discovered had lost much of its gelcoat. Moisture was seeping in from the top, as well as outright leaking through during heavier rain. I honestly wasn't sure this product would be the answer, but it was priced right and was available in smaller quantities compared to other coating products. It worked fantastic! I coated the top of my truck cap with it and I am very pleased so far with how it worked. I have not noticed any seepage or leaking at all from the areas coated with this product. I actually wish I would have just done the whole thing, but I wasn't sure I would have enough nor how it would work being applied to vertical surfaces. I am considering ordering more to re-coat the top of my 20+ year old RV. ... show more

Silicone is expensive. If you only have to patch up some small areas, why buy a large container that may dry out before you get to use it all? This size container is perfect for what I needed.after my new hvac was installed.

Easy to apply with paintbrush; completely waterproof; flexible without cracking; adheres on all (prepared and dry) surfaces. Best to apply above 50F; dries within several hours with exposure to sunlight. Used on my gutters with excellent results.

Regardless of the quality of the product, (too thin to coat in 1 application), the amount needed for coverage is in no way provided by the minuscule amounts sold in the quart containers. The description leads you to believe you can cover a large area, but I assure you that is not the case. The cost is excessive for the amount provided. It is also not advisable for a shingled roof which is not clear in the description. This may be good for crafts, but hardly for construction or roof repair needs. Look for 5 gallon products of similar manufacturing instead. They run about .20/oz. as opposed to 1.32/oz. So much for made in America! ... show more
