very loud but does a great job and make ice super fast, does put some heat off the vent so you need a wide space to sit it on almost scared to leave it plugged in while gone due to this

I bought this ice machine for my ma. It is her Mother's day gift. The ice machine worked awesome. Produced ice very quickly, holds quite a bit of water and noise free. I read the manual after buying and followed its instructions. 5 weeks after use it stopped freezing the water. It can go through its cleaning cycle and fill/drain water, but it doesn't freeze. It stopped working conveniently 1 week after the return policy so I'm out 90 bucks. Disappointing because once you have a ice maker its hard to go back to refilling trays yourself. I would love a replacement or a refund. Called the customer service number and they do not offer refunds. Do. Not. Buy. This. Brand. ... show more

I actually bought this to use in my big truck because I’m spoiled like that. I work in Texas and having an ice cold glass of water on a hot day is fantastic. Now all of my trucker friends want an ice maker for their trucks. I set it to make ice while I’m sleeping and fill my travel cup in the morning. It lasts all day. It’s perfect. I got this because I didn't want an icemaker in my fridge taking up space. I do like this icemaker as it does make ice pretty quickly. This ice maker is ok at best. Makes ice but doesn't keep ice so prepare for it to be running constantly. Will stop when full but ice will melt and it will start over.
