    • Died after three days of use
Worked great on day one! Plug and play on a Linux OS. By day three the entire thing had died. Very very low volume and nothing would bring it back from the dead. Returned to Amazon. This thing is just not a quality piece.

    • Works great and good for additional modifications
First, on the sound quality front, I have never received complaints from the other part of the video call about my audio. The mic works in a truely plug-and-play fashion. Due to its price, I am pretty confident in making modifications to this mic. Here are two mods: 1. With the stcok screws, one can remove the stand and fix the mic to a spring-clamp. There are clamps with a little hole on the handles. 2. One can also mount the mic to camera mounts, with a M4 adpater (the screws with plastic caps are of size M4). In line with the modes, one can enforce the housing for the screw on the mic, with a bit of the Gorilla glue for plastic parts. This microphone gets used for multi-purposes. My son records himself playing his instrument for school assignments and I use it to record my online course videos. The sound is clear and I would definitely recommend this product.

Cable I received was broken and didn’t want to send the entire thing back for a broken cable. No idea who to talk to to get another (update: gave money back on the cable :))

Solidly built. Cheap 16 bit sound card inside. Poor quality sound from headphone jack, but mic sounds okay. Dim hard to see LEDs. Reverb function is useless, not sure why they included that. Overall okay, but not great. You are getting what you are paying for.

I wish I returned this items before the deadline. I do YouTube live shows, and one day decided to watch a reply and notice I was so loud even after I adjusted the volume and mic. So in the trash it goes. Hurting for a new mic. DO NOT BUY!
