Using the dryer as I write this. It takes a little longer to dry clothes and it does not hold a lot at a time but it works for our purpose. It is quiet and very sturdy. You do need to vent it so I recommend an indoor venting kit ($17.00 on Amazon) or you can vent out a window if available.

I can lift it and put it anywhere. There are ways to mount it as well. The blankets are not included. This powerful electric dryer can hold up to 10 lbs. The interior is large and clean with steel design. I don’t fill it to the rim so the clothes can dry sooner. I love the options for drying: Cool(0-20mins): cool down the temperature, Warm(30-120mins): dry and cool cloth, Anti-wrinkle, Hot (120-200min): for drying large quantities or bulky item, Air dry(0-80mins) run with cool air to freshening. I have used them all based on the type of clothing. It works like a charm. I put in the dryer sheet and the clothes come out warm and smell amazing. I make sure to clean the filter for every load that’s done. The noise is very quiet. We put the dryer in our sunroom. I have a reading corner there too and while I’m there reading my book, i barely notice the dryer running in the background. I absolutely impressed with the design. It looks like a space ship haha, very cool. The stainless steel, as mentioned, provides a sleek, modern and clean feel to it. The instruction is clear and very simple. I thought that i would use this temporarily until we get a normal size dryer. I love it! It dries well quickly. It meets my needs well and saves me time doing laundry. The operation is simple and straightforward, as long as the household current, it will dry your clothes well. It's a really good design, especially in cold weather.

    • Great little dryer, but FEELING RIPPED OFF

EDITING THE REVIEW: After reading other reviews showing the sticker on the side stating it's a 5.5 pound capacity dryer, I decided to check the sticker on the side of mine. Sure enough, it states 5.5 lb. capacity. WTF?!?! I didn't PAY for a 5.5 pound capacity dryer I paid for a 10 pound capacity dryer. So is Costway ripping people off, or are they just putting the wrong stickers on the product. There is NO indication in ANY of the Amazon product listing page that indicates this is NOT a 10 lb. dryer. It's what I thought I was getting and it's certainly what I PAID FOR. I will be filing a complaint with both Costway AND Amazon. If neither one makes it right, I'll pursue legal redress. This is simply fraud on the part of Costway. That said, as other reviewers have said, this is a 110v dryer that will take at least 2 hours for you to dry heavy clothes in them such as a pair of jeans, or heavy shirts. However, if you're drying things like undies, socks, Tee shirts or dish/tea towels, they will take much less time. If you look at the dial, you'll see that the really hot temps are up around the 120 minute mark, while warmer temps are from about 20 minutes and up. That said, you need to put clothes in here that have been spun as dry as they can be. So, if your small washer has a spin dryer, use it. If not, get one and transfer the clothes to it and use this as a "finish" dryer. The less wet the clothes are, the faster they'll dry. My system is an 8 pound washer w/spin dry and a 13 pound spin dryer. I take the clothes from the washer after it's spun them dry and put them into the spin dryer for a 5 minute further spin. Then I throw them into this dryer for final drying. Whole process takes about 2 hours total. As for venting, it's not really needed. It comes with an angle pipe piece that fits over the vent in the back, and you can attach a regular dryer vent hose to it, but it really isn't needed. Unless you turn it up to the 2 hour mark, the heat coming out isn't all that hot. I love it quite frankly. It's also perfect for a small space, or if you're in a house or apartment, you can use it to supplement your full size dryer. I'm in an RV and it's a perfect size for this place. Right now I have it outside, but only because I haven't cleared a space yet to it to come inside. But, I've got at least 3 places I can place it once I get them cleared up. ... show more

The dryer works great so far and fits nicely in the RV. It will reduce a lot of your space for hanging clothes. Plan on drying one pair of jeans at a time. it will dry more but, you'll spend a lot more time ironing as the drum is very small and they don't tumble freely enough to minimize wrinkles. I don't run more than 3 days worth of t-shirts, socks or boxers at a time. anything more and they don't tumble well. I wish it had a buzzer to alert you when its done. I sometimes forget to set a timer and I find them wrinkled. If you pull them out during the cooling cycle you might be able to skip the iron. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I always clean my indoor full-sized washer and dryer after washing my garage towels. I looked for a dryer for my new portable washer, smaller and easy to hook up outside. I found this dryer with a good design and good specs, and I had to get one of these. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to set up and use. I like how all I had to do was just plug it in, and since it was outdoors, there were no vents to connect. Secondly, it works great. I like the ease of the controls. I pressed the HIGH button and set it for 30 minutes, put in 12 wet shop towels, and they were dry after that 30 minutes. Lastly, I really like how light this one is. I have actually taken this one on camping trips, uses very little power and worked out great, and is very easy to carry too. No cons, it really worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more
