I was excited to receive my plant, and it initially looked fine upon arrival. However, within a day, it started showing signs of infection. This is not the first time I have ordered a plant from Costa Farms and will not be my last. Historical, I received my plant on a box, well hydrated and everything intact which makes me keep ordering. Imagine my surprise and dread when I received my box which looked like it fell of the truck a few times so I was not looking forward to opening my box. Costa did not disappoint, the planter and plant were pristine which was shocking given the state of the box it came in. Costa Farms are experts in packing these plants with planters. The box the plant was in was torn and had been opened and taped closed again. There were several delays in the delivery pipeline and while the plant did arrive pretty much in on piece there were still issues with lack of hydration in hot weather. The leaves had a wilted appearance and the flowers were drooping. It was delivered at 9:40 in the evening with no notice and I brought it in at 11:00 that night when I did the last night check of all the doors and outside. I opened the package and hydrated the plant and as of 6AM today it looks like it's pretty much recovered. I would suggest checking the plant immediately to insure it doesn't need water. To me it validates the claims that this plant is very hardy and forgiving so am very pleased with the purchase, no so happy with the UPS delivery issues. ... show more
