Description

Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high performance Overclocking. The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior Overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel 100 series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility tested across 100 Series motherboards for reliably fast performance. There's XMP 2.0 support for trouble free automatic Overclocking. And, they're available in multiple colors to match your motherboard, your components, or just your style.

  • Good-Used and WORKING Memory DIMMs
Bought exact-matching Part# as existing pair of Corsair DDR4-3200 1.35V DIMMs. Arrived intact in correct PKG, and WORKED right away. Client very happy...

  • Not stable at the rated frequencies prominantly shown on the product page
I bought this as a cost effective upgrade for my at the time four year old system and was decently happy with how simple it was to install and set up but the listed speed advertised by the product page is the XMP profile speed that's used by Intel or whatever AMD's equivalent technology (Intel owns the trademark to XMP so AMD uses different terminology for the same feature) The issue is that the average user is going to assume that at a baseline the frequency is set to the speed listed at the top of the product page or is in the search meta tags for the item and then find when they plug it in that it defaults to half or so of the listed speed so beware of that.. Granted its not exclusive to Corsair I think its more of an issue with how Amazon themselves formats the listing preferring to highlight the maximum frequency rather than the standard out-of-the-box frequency but that may be a more subjective opinion statement ... show more

  • Nice RAM
It works, 16 gigabytes is more than enough ram for most uses in this day and age I've found (heck, 8 GB is the only amount I've found I've been able to actually utilize and I've used 4 just fine). Put this into a gaming PC I built where the idea was to not break the bank but still get plenty of power and that's what I got! ... show more

  • Mixed results with Ryzen 7 2700
This is my second purchase of this memory. First 16GB pair worked flawlessly in ASUS TUF B450-PRO motherboard. Just enabled XMP settings and the system is extremely stable at 3200MHz. I got this second pair to increase my memory and it was a disaster so far. It is exactly the same memory according to the utilities like CPUZ. Model number is the same and chips are Samsung. My PC however does not like it at all. It would not post at faster than 2800MHz and when it runs it does not run stable. Random crashes. I run memtester and memtestX86 all night and both run without any errors. But Windows is crashing. I found by accident that a good test is to verify large archives with 7zip, something like NVDIA driver package. If seemingly normal archive produces errors with random files every time, your memory is the problem. Windows sfc /scannow command also produced errors even in safe mode. After removing the second pair of sticks all is back to normal. I am exchanging these and see if it was just a bad pair. It is possible that quality control is not adequate. I will update my review after I get the new pair. UPDATE: The new pair behaves exactly the same except it does not run at all at 2800MHz. The fastest I could get it to run is 2733MHz. The memory runs stable at that speed, no issues. I believe that Ryzen 2700 can't run 4 DIMMs at anything higher than 2800. On the positive side, the memory only needs to run at 1.25V to be stable at 2733MHz so it runs cooler. At 1.2V it is not quite stable in all conditions. Remember that nominal voltage for this is 1.35V to run XMP mode so 1.25V is quite good. If this is your first 2 DIMMs, just get 32GB pair. Otherwise not much can be done aside from replacing a pair of 8GB with a pair of 16GB. If you want 16GB and not planning to upgrade, this memory works just fine. ... show more

  • Rock solid performer for everyday desktop multitasking
I've used this memory at 75% capacity in Windows 10 Pro with 10 video files playing, streaming YouTube live and copying files. I rarely see an app crashing under load with this memory, a fast ssd drive and a video card with ample memory. Can't go wrong for the price.

  • These are good and at a good price
This is my second more recent build at home and I have used Corsair in both builds and had no issues. The last pair lasted several years without any issues. I trust these enough to have started using them in builds at work. In my case I have 4 of these installed for a total of 32GB. To get to the 3200Mhz advertised clock speed you will likely need to access the BIOS settings since these will default to 2133Mhz when first installed unless your BIOS settings had already been changed: For Intel: Enable XMP For AMD: Enable DOCP (as was the case for me) I also didn't change any of the advanced settings that popped up after enabling DOCP (this is where you can easily get into trouble unless you really know what you are doing) and have been running at 3200Mhz for a few days now with 0 issues. I know results may vary, but I really recommend going ahead and enabling the BIOS options to fully utilize these at their advertised and rated frequency. ... show more
