  • Corsair no longer supports their products
Color: Black Size: 140mm Style: Standard Pattern Name: Dual Pack
- Best fans on the market unfortunately - Good build quality -Excellent noise levels - Awesome performance thanks to the technology behind them - Corsair does not stand behind their products any longer - Their customer service has declined in recent years - I own a computer manufacturing company and I used to purchase well over 10k worth of Corsair components each year for builds between Amazon and other retailers and wholesalers.. Over the last few years, their customer service has drastically declined and they went from top notch customer service to sub par to say the least. They started denying ALL of my warranty issues stating to either go back to the retailer or that the product was no longer under warranty even though it was within the claimed "3 Year warranty". Most recently, I had another one of their products go faulty and I submitted another warranty claim and attached all required receipts and and serial numbers. Again they denied the claim. First they tried to say the product was not cover under that "type of failure". They they stated that the product was "out of warranty" and the date given was the same month I purchase the product. I have discontinued 100% of my business with Corsair. ... show more

  • Corsair ML120 vs Noctua NF-P12 redux
Color: Black Size: 120mm Style: Standard Pattern Name: Dual Pack
Summary: Both of these are great fans that I highly recommend. The Noctua NF-P12 redux is cheaper and quieter then the Corsair ML120, so it is best for most situations. The Corsair ML120 is great when you need a fan that can run both quiet or loud and powerful. It can run 700 rpm faster than the Noctua so it is a good value for a such a powerful fan, but it is slightly louder at the same rpm and a couple of dollars more expensive then the Noctua. Noise: The both fans are silent up to 1300 rpm. The Corsair ML120 is slightly louder than the Noctua NF-P12 redux at speeds above 1300 rpm. I was really surprised that the Noctua NF-P12 redux beat the Corsair ML120 on noise, as the ML120 uses a magnetic levitation barring, but I guess that Noctua’s fluid barring is just that good. AirFlow: The Corsair ML120 can run up to 2400 rpm while the Noctua NF-P12 redux can only reach 1700rpm, so the ML120 is capable of more air flow and higher pressure then the NF-P12 redux, although Corsair ML120 is quite loud at max speed. Static pressure from spec sheets: Corsair ML120 up to 4.2 mm-H2O, Noctua NF-P12 redux up to 2,83 mm-H2O. RPM range: ML120 = 400-2400, NF-P12 redux = 450-1700. The main advantage that the Corsair ML120 has over the Noctua is that it can run 700 rpm faster. This is great for a situation where you might need some extra cooling power at the top of a pmw fan curve. Warranty: ML120 = 5 years, NF-P12 redux = 6 years. Both of these fans have top quality bearings, so they should both last for many years unless you get a defective one. Accessories: As these are both basic models they do not come with anti-vibration pads or any other accessories other then mounting screws. Price: At the time of this review a 2 pack of ML120 was 31.41, so a ML120 was $15.71 while a NF-P12 redux was $13.90, so the Noctua is a couple of dollars cheaper, but the ML120 is still a great value for a good quality 2400 rpm fan. Note on product models: The performance of the ML120 is the same as the ML120 PRO, the PRO model is just a more premium variant that has anti vibration pads, looks better. ... show more

  • Most fans are not made like this. Need a case fan
Color: Black Size: 120mm Style: Standard Pattern Name: Dual Pack
Pros: 1. Quieter than Noctua and most other top quiet fans for same amount of airflow. Some people compare by RPM, but that isn't the right way. You have to compare sound level at different airflow. Read reviews that provide the info to calculate that, and Corsair comes out on top most of the time. For example, Google Thermalbench ml120 review, and look at the 2nd to last graph on page 3, comparing fan noise vs. airflow. 2. Suitable for high static pressure and high airflow both, giving these fans a lot of flexibility. Most fans are not made like this. Need a case fan? Use a ML120/ML140. Need a heatsink or radiator fan? Use a ML120/ML140. Cons: 1. Only works well with PWM, don't do 3-pin or it will make weird noises. Obviously no low-noise adapter given only PWM-compatible. 2. Not vibration-dampened corners for the two-pack. No rubber screws. 3. The non-two-pack ones are expensive! No thanks. ... show more

  • Silent yet powerful
Color: White Size: 120mm Style: Pro Pattern Name: Single Pack
These are the best fans I've ever had. Not cheap but when running @ 2400 RPM you can barely hear them. @ 1600 - 1800 RPM they are flat out silent. Edit: 1 year later, these are still the best fans I've ever had. Silent, silent, silent. When I measure the real output at max speed, the fans run at approximately 2630 RPMs instead of the advertised 2400 RPM. Even so, you can barely hear them with an open case. They are extremely stylish too, disagree? You be the judge... ☺ ... show more

  • Not Even Close
Color: Black Size: 140mm Style: Standard Pattern Name: Dual Pack
This packet of double ML 140mm Premium fans is so not, what I expected. First, neither of the fans have anti-vibration rubber dampers! Yep, I saw the picture, but in my naivety thought, NO company today would sell fans with such high Air Flow (20-97 CFM) and RPM (1,600 RPM) without them or sell them as accessories. Okay, I thought maybe I did not need dampers on my Alphacool 280 radiator, wrong again. Moving right along, there is such a high-pitched whine in fans, it hurt my ears. Understand my CaseLabs Merlin (SM8) case is full of 140mm Noctua fans, with the only exception being the two front intake (prior to adding a radiator for my video card) fans being Corsairs’ ML 140 Pro blues, and it was always dead quiet. After installation, my case rattled and whined, very unacceptable. I have no idea if they indeed do their job pulling air in, and I do not care. I took them out; not the easiest or quickest feat, and replaced them with a pair of Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swaps, and life is good and quiet again as I packed these puppies up for return. In short, these are NOT Pros, they whine, and no, I would NOT recommend them for anything but possibly a simple case fan. ... show more
