  • Be prepared to sand
It's not the fault of Corsair, it's just the nature of a hacksaw. You will want to sand the cut on a flat surface to get it even. I ended up buying a 12in miter saw in the long run.

  • Some useful items…
The bending jig, the silicon insert and the deburring tool were all very useful in my first liquid cooled build. The hacksaw (and the clamp used in conjunction with it) drove me nuts. I couldn’t get a straight no matter what (I was working with Corsair’s 14mm hardline pmma tubing). If you’d like perfect cuts with similar tubing, then go ahead and grab a mini miter saw. ... show more

  • Really disappointing, not that good.
I really like all of my Corsair components: keyboard, mouse, cases, water-cooling, PSU, etc. But, in my opinion, this kit really falls flat. Pros: The bending mandrel and insert work very well for consistent, clean radius bends. Cons: 1) The jig doesn't have a saw blade guide thus the straightness and evenness of your cut is down to your steady hands. 2) The jig has a tendency to scratch PETG tubing when cinched down. 3) The deburring tool is mediocre as it regularly "eats" the end of the tubing. After using this kit on my first few tubes, I was very frustrated and switched to off-the-shelf tools: a mini copper pipe-cutter from Rigid (model 101), a large X-Acto knife for deburring, and home-made 2x4 sanding block. In the end, my water-cooling loop turned out close to perfect on the first try and no leaks. ... show more

  • Works well. Would buy again but I'll be never need to!
Really nice kit. Should be standard issue to hard tubing enthusiasts. I'm even using the saw to cut 1/4" flat acrylic, and it works great for that, too!

  • So, this tears at me a little.
So, I love corsair. I have a lot of corsair hydro stuff. This set is good for someone that has never used tools and don't know what they will need to get this job done. But if you know your way around tools, you can honestly get what you need, in better quality, for less. The set has a fairly useless vice, a very almost (probably) below average fine tooth saw, and then your basics. Have a lot of other corsair stuff, including cpu cases, and I love them to death. TLDR: Don't know what you need? Buy this. Know what you need? Well, get what you need. ... show more

  • Exactly what I was needing
OH, these are exactly what I was needing because I had worn out another set from a different distributor. Thanks so very much. 😊 👍🏼 😉 ❤️

  • This Kit will do the job, but..
Overall this set up is a must for the Corsair Hardline series tubes as any other cutting device will break or shatter the Corsair tubing. It takes technique such as not using hard pressure but long soft stokes to get a "fairly" straight cut. The miter box helps, but a perfect cut is non existent. If you want to save money, just go to hardware store and get a small hand saw, order a 30 cm long silicone insert, a metal drill ran reamer as this plastic handheld one will get the job done so you can insert tube in fitting, but it will look terrible. The tool to help with bending angles did not work for me personally, but it may for someone else. Save your money and just get those items elsewhere. ... show more

  • don't buy used
it said the product was used, like new, but whoever had it before me hacked up the cutting block pretty bad making it pretty unuseful for getting square cuts. a bit disappointing. then, the bending tool was melted as well. those seemed like pretty key features to still label this in good condition
