Description

MOUNT TYPES: Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 0.4" base on the window width and 0.25" base on the window height to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame. Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2inch for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2inch please select outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting.Our shades come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware for both inside mount and outside mount INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as your inside width when ordering. Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering. OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 3-6inch to be the outside mount width. Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 4-6inch to be the outside mount length. The overlap it recommended to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps. Nicely finished product. With the exception of the valence it was easy to install. The installation of the valance required some ingenuity in the cutting and bending of its mounting system. The blinds included an additional slat, no doubt as a spare. This was confusing since it was attached to the other slats with its decorative chain, leaving me with the impression that one of the mounting hooks was missing. It was nice to have the additional slat but it should have been kept separate from the ones to be installed. They sent the wrong size in the order is not refundable. In order to get the right size, They want me to pay for a new set of blinds. On top of that, the blinds look cheap. I got black ones, but it had white stick along the top and bottom. The instructions makes no sense. And the seller is overseas so the communicate through text message at 3 o’clock in the morning.
