In our house, we're always on the lookout for a good trimmer. I ordered this one since my partner is a bearded fellow and I thought he might find it convenient. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the shaping tool (the one we got was a bit scuffed up and almost looked like someone had used it already), but I also imagine some of that could have happened due to things rubbing around inside the box while it was in transit. The shaping tool is a little on the thick side, but that does make it feel substantial and like maybe it's going to hold up for a good, long while. I thought the trimmer itself was great. I used it on my hair and the cuts were very clean and precise. I also really liked that it's lightweight - I felt completely comfortable using it. Got this for myself as an attempt to cut my hair and it works perfectly. My only complaint is that it is a tad bit bulky and also does not come with a pencil to trace over the Cutbuddy before lining yourself up.

This is an excellent idea and I NEEDED this! I have a beard and I’m fairly new with having a beard. It’s getting longer and I needed something to somehow help create an event cut line around my jaw line, but also help keep my beard up and out of the way so I can trim around it. This did EXACTLY what I needed it to do. Trying to use my hand before while keeping my head up while trimming was a serious task and a pain. This made it soooooommuch easier for me. I got a nice straight line and the trimmer worked great. Now, upon reading some of the reviews, I’m seeing common sense isn’t the best. This does come with a USB charging cord. It doesn’t come with the usb outlet plug, but if you don’t have several of these laying around by now, you need to get with the times. I have usb plugs and outlets all over my house. So upon receiving this, like with all rechargeable electronics, I plugged it right in and got it fully charged before the first use. It charged to 100% very quickly. This trimmer is fairly self explanatory. It’s not rocket science on how to press the power button and use the trimming guide tool. It’s VERY easy to use! Seriously. If you need help, do yourself a favor and search YouTube for Trim Buddy Shark Tank. He demonstrates how to use the product, and the story behind this product is very intriguing. After seeing his episode on YouTube from shark tank, I was excited to get this. I’m very happy that I was able to try this product and see that it truly does what I needed. Absolutely brilliant idea! I’m not saying all this because I got it for free to review. I’m being 100% honest in saying, you won’t be disappointed. Great for trimming hair lines and beard lines. It also comes with oil for the trimmer, a brush for the trimmer, and guards for the trimmer. It’s packaged very well and the box looks great upon opening. I’m very impressed with it and I will use this from now on for trimming my beard. I’d seriously take these low grade reviews with a grain of salt and chalk it up to user error and ignorance.
