I originally thought this light might work to illuminate my schoolbook to use next to my laptop where my ceiling lighting isn't the best but it's more of a modern-day lava lamp, in my opinion. it has some really mesmerizing light patterns to choose from. There is a remote, which I though was funny, but I guess these days most everything comes with a remote. I imagine for some; it may be handy. It didn't work for the purpose that I got it for but i won't lie, I've had it on everyday just to watch the different color changing patterns, it's pretty relaxing and would make a nice accent piece or conversation starter in a room. it would also add a little bit of ambience in your room while you are hanging out. I'm not made at my selection at all. Cool light that you charge by USB and then you can put it anywhere and not have to worry about it being plugged in until you need to charge it again. When I received this, I was a little surprised at how small it is. For some reason I thought it was going to be a little taller. However, it actually works great! Since it has a small foot-print, it's actually the perfect size to place on a small table or shelf. It has many lighting effect choices which can be changed, even without the remote! You can switch easily between color modes by tapping the power switch. The remote is mainly used to set a timer, brighten & dim or change if you want a smooth, flash or (my favorite) flame setting. I was happy that it uses USB-C, and comes with a nice cord. It does not come with a wall-brick, but I have plenty lying around. Another nice option is that you can use it plugged in or on battery. The battery lasts a long time. Once charged, with everyday, it can go almost a full week. I really like it, and intend on getting a couple of these to increase the lighting effect! ... show more

This light is so amazing. I’ve had it on for several hours every evening when I go out for my cigar ritual. I love the variety of colors, and the dimming options. It even has a cool tiki torch light effect. I would guess around 35 to 45 hours of run time depending on how bright I have it or strobing or flamed effect. I simply charge it and it’s good to go again. Yep. Just what I needed, another remote control. 😂 but it really is super convenient and handy. I use it mostly to set a timer. This is really cool. Remote, app, can be charged/wireless or plug in USB. It has so many different settings. From normal light, RGB and tons of patterns. It's not super bright, so more of a accessory than a lamp, but I am a huge RGB fan so I love it!

The media could not be loaded. This little lamp is fun and useful. I love that it's portable and chargeable. You can take it anywhere! I'm taking it with me to an overnight trip next week! It won't take up any space at all in my bag. This light has so many colors and modes of light. There is a candle flicker, steady color, and slow changing. I don't know which color I like best...(ok, maybe blue)...but they are all so pretty! It's not a light to read a book by, but it sure can be used for everything else.
