  • Works but needs an upgrade.
Size: For Milwaukee
This sprayer works great. You do need to let it cool down. The brushes in the motor burn up if you use it for extended periods. If they could design a better brush design, this would be 5 star.

  • Small, handy, cleans up easily, handled solid color stain
Size: For Milwaukee
Cordless Paint Sprayer for Milwaukee 18V Battery, Portable HVLP Paint Sprayer with 2 Nozzles Stained a deck and a fence with this, solid color stain; they look great. Spraying stain works particularly well for decks and wood fences where there are multiple cracks, hard to get to with a brush or roller, and getting the surface perfectly smooth isn’t the issue it would be with furniture. I started with a corded Wagner stain sprayer and then tried this one. Both left a smooth finish and filled in crevices and spaces between boards easily. The corded sprayer had a bigger paint container and when triggered sprayed immediately. After a while my arm was tired from holding it out. Keeping the cord off the stained section of the deck was a small nuisance. With battery (4 Ah, not particularly big) attached and a full paint container this item feels about the same weight but holds 1 quart rather than one and a half; not especially heavy until you been at it for a while. The smaller capacity means going back more often to mix and load paint. When this one is triggered, it takes a second or so for the air flow to get up to speed, so you want to press the trigger slightly to start the air pump, then fully for the paint flow, keeping trigger pressed slightly while moving to the next pass. Easy with a little practice. The ideal spraying distance for this one is a little less than a foot and the width of each pass about a foot; it covers less area per pass than the corded sprayer. All plastic, but seems sturdy. I would not expect it to last long bouncing around in the back of a painter’s truck. Considering that decks, and particularly fences, may be a long way from an electric plug, this is potentially very useful. ... show more

  • no no no
Size: For Milwaukee
this was purchased solely because it takes Milwaukee batteries and it turned out that was the only good thing. It sprayed ok enough for a few minutes and then the tip started to clog and paint was not coming out only hot air witch is why the paint kept drying and tip clogging the hooter the motor got the hotter the air and the more it clogged. It may work fine with solvent laden stains who knows. ... show more

  • At this price point, I can’t ask for more
Size: For Dewalt
This exceeded my expectations. I painted a very long and very tall fence with it, and it made what I expected to be a day-long, tedious job much, much quicker and easier. It feels cheap and I don’t expect it to last forever, but if it had died when I was done, I would have felt I got my money’s worth and still been happy. It didn’t though, so I’m thrilled. I do recommend thinning your paint in a separate container first, otherwise you’re likely to get backflow or clog this sprayer. Cleanup wasn’t as easy as washing a roller or brush, but staying mineral spirits through it when we were done definitely helped. I also recommend keeping a charged batteries on hand if you have a large job so you can finish it in one sitting. It begins to sputter and the paint comes out in spatters when the battery is low, A quick note on viscosity: we don’t really use DIN/sec in the US. Most paint here is rated in density ( Cm2), whereas DiN is a German measuring cup ( usually in 4mm) that’s used to measure viscosity. Note that density and viscosity are different things, and this sprayer definitely needs viscous paint to operate. A simple measuring trick for us in the US is to dip a stirring stick into the paint, pull it out and hold it at a 45 degree angle over the paint. Wait for it to stop flowing flowing. If it then drips consistently once every second for at least 5 seconds, you’re at about the right viscosity. ... show more

  • Needs to be better.
Size: For Milwaukee
I bought this because it was the only fun that would fit a Milwaukee battery. It seems like it's decently built, but overall doesn't work great. Here's my issues. It has a viscosity strainer to time flow for thinning of product you are going to spray, but I feel it should have a ratio cup so you know how much to thin it. The gun uses a fan to spray the product. In my opinion it's not efficient. It uses battery fairly quickly and doesn't seem to supply enough pressure to move the product. This is also where the ratio cup would be nice, because I think the product needs to be VERY thin to spray properly. I think it's a good concept just needs some final finishing touches. The fluid needle gets stuck in an open position, so you have the push the trigger forward to get the needle closed when done spraying. The trigger arm is plastic and pops out of the pivot point. ... show more

  • Excellent Cordless Paint Sprayer for Home Remodeling!
Size: For Milwaukee
The media could not be loaded. I recently had the perfect timing for a house remodel, and the Cordless Paint Sprayer turned out to be a fantastic addition to my toolkit. This portable HVLP paint sprayer with 2 nozzles and 3 spray patterns has been a real deal, especially for touch-ups and smaller projects. The spray pattern settings on this gun are a true help. They make it incredibly easy to achieve a professional finish, whether I'm painting walls, ceilings, furniture, gardens, or fences. Even when compared to my trusty airless painter, the color match of the sprayed paint is surprisingly accurate. The compatibility with Milwaukee 18V batteries is a massive advantage. It's convenient not having to worry about additional power sources. This feature really makes the sprayer a versatile tool, great for tackling various painting tasks, including those tricky baseboards. One minor downside is that you may need to refill the paint more frequently compared to some other sprayers. However, given its performance and the convenience it provides, this isn't a major issue. Overall, the Cordless Paint Sprayer has been a reliable and efficient addition to my remodeling project. It's certainly worth considering for anyone looking for a high-quality paint sprayer that's great for small projects and provides excellent results. ... show more
