I grabbed the Cordless Hair Clippers for Men Professional Beard Trimmer to help get the longer hair on my body and head down after a few days of not shaving, then polish off with another shaver. I’ve tried a few others that were bad, decent, and even good, but none of those have it on the Cordless Hair Clippers for Men Professional Beard Trimmer - it’s really good and works for me. I like the kit it comes in as it includes not just the trimmer and cord, extra guards, and oil. The weight it excellent - heavier than most, substantial. It arrived charged so I was able to use it right away. Easy on and off. It gave me an excellent start to getting the hair down on my body and head. This is another in a series of metal or plastic-embossed shavers and trimmers coming onto the market. Some are better quality than others, even though they often look quite similar. This is one of the best ones I've used. What I like: 1. It's solid--weighty--and the motor runs smoothly and at a constant speed. 2. It looks good, with nice designs on the case. 3. The blade is quite good; it claims to be zero-gapped, and it's the closest I've encountered, giving a nice, close trim. The blade has a lot of teeth, compared to some of its competition (it's the one on the right in my photo). I was able to do some delicate work removing weight from both my beard and my hair, and it never needed me to go over the same spot again. 4. The power button is well placed, and it uses a standard USB-C charging port. 5. (May be disadvantageous for some) It doesn't have any frills: just one motor speed, no changeable blades, and no travel lock feature. What I don't like: 1. The accessory comb sizes are unusual and not that useful. Most sets I've used include a 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 mm option, or sometimes a 1, 3, 6, 9 option. This set includes 1, 2, 3, and 4, meaning this kit can only be used for stubble or maintaining very short beards (unless you're an expert using it without guides at all). 2. There's a separate clear plastic shell that snaps on to the neck of the device--I presume it's there to keep hair out of the mechanism, but it's not mentioned in the instructions. It doesn't fit firmly in place and rattles somewhat noisily during operation. All in all, a nice trimmer for the price, but the accessories could be better thought-through. ... show more

I got this for my side burn which grows faster than the rest of my beard and also my body hair. My eczema and tight thermal for the winter do get along very well. So, I have to shave my body hair in the winter as a proactive preventative in the fight against winter snake skin. The design of this and the guard it comes with make it super easy to shave parts of my body that I can't see. I was brave enough to go a bit deeper down there, and to my surprise, it worked wonders. This is a great-quality beard trimmer for short beard lengths. It's weighty enough to seem like the build-quality is high but light enough to maneuver easily. My son loves this and says it works well, cutting through thick hairs easily and never pulling on the hairs or hurting his skin. He keeps his beard quite short so he's very happy with this trimmer, but it doesn't include any combs for those who want to maintain a long beard. ... show more

Very impressed with the actual unit - well made - even luxuriously made as it's rather ornately embossed in an attractive manner. That said, what matters is how well they work, and this is a quality set of clippers. Full range of combs to attach for various lengths facial hair trimming, included clipper oil and cleaning brush. It's great it has a readout of how much charge is left while you're using the unit, and of course it comes with a USB charge cord.     • Easy to use, precision beard trimmer
before I ordered this beard trimmer I had been using a trimmer that was primarily intended for your hair, not your beard. It worked but I spent a lot of time using it due to how the combs were designed. They didn't grab my beard consistently so I had to go over a section several times. I figured that was on me because I wasn't using a product specifically designed for trimming beards and this cordless trimmer right here definitely is a lot better. The combs are more efficient, and I like how they're labeled so you can figure out what to use. For example, I tried the 2mm one and next time if I don't want it to turn out that short, I can size up. This came charged up to 99% so I dove right in. After a trim, the battery meter is reading 96% so I guess one charge will last you a very long time. The only thing I have to get used to is where they placed the power button. In gripping the handle yesterday I did inadvertently grab it where the power button was, and that turned it off. You also can't choke up too high on the handle or your fingers will get in the way of the trimming blade assembly as it moves left to right. But other than that, I'm a fan and this will likely last me for a good long time. ... show more
