Having had a couple of failed lower back surgeries, my lower back has been flaring up and wanted to try this product based on all of the reviews. I use Copper Compression for other areas of my body and have had success. Unfortunately, this item did not provide the relief I was looking for and this could be because we are all different in our needs. I have a lot of nerve damage, arthritis and muscle pain even with going to PT I do not always get the relief I am looking for. My back did feel warmth from the item but, only when I wore it directly on my skin. When I put it over my clothes, it fit a little bit better, but then I lost the warming sensation. Also, it is a little too big on me – my waist is 26 inches - and it did not give me the compression I needed for the back support. I did wear this for over a week to give a good try but will need to keep looking for another item. Again, what works for me, may not work for you, and visa versa. This item is made very well with much more thickness than other copper compression braces I have tried. It did feel very comfortable and breathable when I wore it. The velcro is very well made, keeping the brace on secure. It did not make me hot like some braces I have owned. All in all, I will say that it is very well made but it just did not fit my needs. I took some time before I wrote this review. I wanted to make sure that it would be informative and helpful about the product to others. I'm a 6'2 male, 250 pounds with a 42+ inch waist. When I first got this product, I tried it on as I ordered based on the size chart and it fits, so kudos on that. Before actually using this product I rinsed it water making sure I followed the directions given with respect to washing this product. I found that air bubbles appeared and the fabric surrounding the brace moved and lifted easily (can be seen in one of my photos). While doing physiotherapy, I had it on and it gave some added support and also helped stave off discomfort during the exercises that caused some distress in the affected area. When the brace was off I noticed the decrease in support for my back. There were times I put it on loosely and it rode up, however once I took the time to carefully put on the brace it stayed pretty much in place. However I also found that the brace started to separate and there were gaps in it. Thus decreasing it's ability to do the task required as good as I would like. Showed my therapist and she was quite alarmed. Does it do the job: Yes, somewhat, so I'd give 4 stars for that Will it last: Does not appear, so I'd give 1 and a half stars for it's durability Overall feeling: Disappointed in the products durability but even in this deteriorative state, it still gives a semblance of support. This Copper Compression back brace works well and provided instant relief. I was skeptical due to how flimsy I thought it was in its design, light weight, and thinness. I WAS WRONG!!!! My recovery time used to be 3 to 4 days after walking, exercising, standing, and cooking. Now, it is 30 minutes to no more than one (1) hour with this Copper Compression belt. What's better is that I wear this after I shower once my workouts are completed, and wear it to recover, as part of my regimen. imagine my surprise that wearing it overnight rejuvenated my body even better. I let my son use it one day when he visited, and he was amazed when he leaped from the sofa to his feet, instead of struggling and rolling off the edge as he usually would do, due to his back issues. I just want to let everyone know that the sizes in the photo are incorrect. I was hesitant about my purchase because the photo has S/M 28" - 34" and L/XL has 36" - 42". I ended up purchasing both sizes because I wasn't quite sure about which one to buy. PLEASE NOTE - These are the actual sizes on each package: S/M 28" - 39" and L/XL 39" - 50".
