This lift chair is superb. Before it, I had a Lazy-Boy that I purchased in March 2022 for $1600.00. It was only a rocker-recliner, no heat, no massage and no lift. It was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in Now almost 80, legs aren’t as good as they once were. I gave the Lazy-Boycaway and took a chance on this leather chair. This one was almost 1/3rd of the Lazy-Boy and is heads snd tails above it - the leathers is soft and pliable, it is so comfortable you sink in it. The massage and heat portion of the chair are so relaxing, and everything works great. Even for me, an almost-eighty old man, I put it together on my own. For me it took longer than advertised but that’s because of age. The only part I had a bit of difficulty with assembly were the instructions on how to connect the two metal parts that prevent the chair from falling backward but I eventually I figured it out. As far as I’m concerned, this chair is worth it’s weight in gold - and, yes, I’d buy it again and again - I love it and now my legs don’t hurt as bad getting up; the chair dies all the work for me.     • It feels a little wobbly when using recline
I came home and my husband had already put it together. It was a tiny bit more involved from what the video showed. You had to make sure to "clip" things together. But he knew that from other recliners we owned. When I push the button to recline, the chair wobbles a little... as if it's not level (but it is). There's enough wobble to make me uneasy about using the feature to help you exit the chair (I don't need this, but I'm scheduled for back surgery and was told I may need assistance. It's nice looking and comfortable which is why it rated a "4" from me. The massage and heat are really nice features, too. Don't let this review stop you from buying it. I think you will like it. This recliner has heat and message and it is a great recliner for me. The quality is great and it does everything as advertised. Nice leather recliner and large arm rests and pockets for remote control for the chair and plug in for my phone. Very comfortable and easy to use and easy to assemble with no tools needed. Shame I can't give negative stars for my rating. Don't waste your money! I got this chair in November for my elderly mother. Received it and put it together, that part was easy. It does not recline 160 degrees, I don't think it's even close. I still feel like I'm sitting up. It is not overstuffed. The seat is very uncomfortable and very shallow for a chair that's supposed to have a deep seat. There's no overstuffing at all in the seat. I fell asleep in it and wound up with a bruise on my hip! I tried to return it. I contacted the company. I explained all of the things that were bad with the chair and why I was trying to return it. They counter offered to credit me $200 to keep it. It would cost more than that to return it! I got a quote from the UPS store, to package it and ship it, it was around $300! The last contact I had with them stated that partial refund has processed and that there should be a credit on my credit card statement. Well....there hasn't been any kind of credit on my statement! I've been going round and round with them for approximately a month or so. They must do this on purpose so you give up. I would never buy anything from this company again. ... show more

First of all, the positives. This chair is very comfortable, and is just the right size (I'm 5'3"). The assembly was super easy. The negative for me (and I must have missed this in the website description) is that the up and down features of the recliner don't work independently of each other. In other words, if I push the "up" button, the back and the leg portion work together. I'm an online instructor and I like to work in my chair, which means I want to the back upright but the legs elevated. But as soon as the legs get elevated, the back starts to recline. Also, the back doesn't recline as much as I'd like it to for sleeping. Truthfully, I would return it if it was easier! ... show more

I just received this today and I absolutely love it! I am purchasing this for my Dad and I want to keep it for myself. It is so comfortable and I was able to assemble it all by myself. It arrived in two boxes and I had it set up in less than 15 min. The directions were easy to understand. The lift feature goes so high I am practically standing by the time it gets to the top. The recline feature reclines easily so I can relax or take a nap. It is very comfortable and the material is nice so I think I will order a slip pad so I don’t wear down the leather material. I ordered a pad to go underneath which keeps the chair from damaging my wood floor. I hope to have a great review in a year that this is still working but from what I can see it’s a great chair! Update: So far after three months we still love this chair. The power feature is great and I especially love that it is easy to clean. Very comfortable chair, my Dad even took a nap sitting straight up! ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the power recliner. However, I was worried for nothing. The chair was exactly as described. I did think it would be a little larger but I am pleased with it. It came it two boxes and I was able to put it together without assistance from my husband.
