This is a great mattress. Low price for a quality hybrid spring mattress. It doesn't retain heat and supports better than most mail-order foam mattresses. We like firmer mattresses, and this one is on the firm side. It doesn't sag at all and provides great support for my bad back. Great value!

I bought this (full size) mattress to replace my non spring ikea mattress that was giving me back pain every time I slept on it. What made me decide on this mattress was the hybrid technology of this mattress. You can definitely feel the coil support when laying down and the pressure relief on your back. First impressions: The shipping box was in bad condition as everyone else has stated before. The mattress packaging however, was still in good shape. The mattress was vacuum sealed so tight it was hard to believe that was a full size mattress. Unboxing: This was easy since I had someone else to help me. The instructions on the paper tells you which area to cut first. Once you start cutting, you can visibly see and hear the mattress taking shape. This was very loud and exciting to look at. Mattress impressions (Smell): I know it says 72 hours before use but I waited about 5 days before using it because the plastic smell was way too strong for me. I would recommend unboxing near a window or living room, and then moving it to your bedroom when the smell is gone. Mattress impression (Quality): This mattress feels solid and tight all around. There were some loose stitching on the outside that looks like it was for design however. The ends of the mattress have less coils than anyone else in the mattress but that’s expected. I’m am sure this mattress will last me a long time. Mattress impression (Comfort): When laying down you will sink into the gel foam top layer of the mattress and then you will hit the coil support of the bed which gives you the medium firm feeling. This feels very comfortable for my partner and I. I get the “sinking into my bed” feeling when I lay down. However, we can still feel the mattress shake if one of us moves around the mattress. Overall, this mattress feels as good as other brand name mattress while still being adorable. I would recommend buying this mattress. ... show more

Update Sept 2024: Once I tracked down how to contact their customer service (service@coolviesleep.com) they were very helpful. I am satisfied. Three additional stars for great resolution to the issue. Also, they report that there has been an upgrade in the materials used to manufacture their mattresses which will correct the issue we experienced. Original Review: We're a married couple with pretty standard sleep patterns. This mattress was comfortable enough at first, but after only 9 months there are two deep valleys and a tall hump between us. I've been working on reaching out to the manufacturer for the last couple of hours and am getting nowhere. They want you to go through Amazon to work with their "10 year warranty" but Amazon doesn't seem to be on board with that approach. So several hundred dollars in and less than a year later, we're not super happy. Yes, it's a low-cost budget mattress. But it should provide a decent night's sleep for at least a couple years, and certainly more than 9 months. ... show more

We have had this bed for only a little over a year and the mattress is already sinking significantly in the middle. Completely uncomfortable when you’re continuously rolling to the middle of the bed. Not worth it, especially since it lasted us under a year.

I waited a couple months to write this review. There are a ton of these brands and types on the market. I spent probably 10+ hours reading reviews of every mattress on amazon. I chose this one and I have to say it's one of the BEST purchases I have ever made. I'm 6'2" 220 pounds of compact muscle. I'm heavy and hard on mattresses because of that. 2 months in NO dips have shown up. No valleys to roll in. The mattress is VERY COMFORTABLE. I look forward to sleep. I've spent 3500 on a mattress before. This is absolutely on par with that purchase. I couldn't be happier with it. There are a lot to look through on amazon. I'm telling you, THIS IS THE ONE. I'm completely amazed by the quality and durability and comfort of this thing. I got the 14 inch medium firm version. The springs are strong and the foam top is heaven. TRUST THIS REVIEW. Had high hopes on this mattress because of the hybrid style thinking it would feel more responsive spring to my body more than the only foam mattress I had before. As a larger bodied side sleeper it puts pressure on my hip and knee which leaves my ankle with no support. This is causing pain in my knees all day long. I also bought the 14” as I thought possibly it would help the mattress feel more plush but it is not and because my bed frame is raised already and the mattress has no edge support a good 8 inch around the sides makes it difficult to get on. This also goes for sitting up in bed to read or watch a show. I do like how easy it was to setup, the feel of the material and I haven’t felt hot like my foam mattress before. ... show more
