  • It actually works great for what I bought it for.
I like that you can use the two guitar inputs for microphones, letting you use four mic's at the same time . It sounds fine. It's lightweight. It's powerful and well built, as is their 30 watt amp, which I bought first. I bought this 120 watt for the small to medium size rooms. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I have not tried the other features yet: bluetooth, headphones, etc. I just got the carrying bag. It's really tight and takes a little bit of time getting it zipped up. Maybe it will stretch over time. The bag could use a little extra padding for better protection. I'm very happy with these two amps. ... show more

  • Coolmusic BP60D 120W Battery Powered Acoustic Guitar Amplifier
I originally purchased the Coolmusic BP60D 120W Battery Powered Acoustic Guitar Amplifier The sound quality is fantastic. The highs and mids are also clear and detailed, making it easy to distinguish different elements of my guitar. One of the things I love most about the Coolmusic BP60D 120W Battery Powered Acoustic Guitar Amplifier is its portability. The compact design and lightweight construction make it easy to take the speaker with me. The rugged exterior is also a plus, as it helps protect the speaker from damage during transport. In terms of setup, the Coolmusic BP60D 120W Battery Powered Acoustic Guitar Amplifier is very straightforward and easy to use. I appreciate the simple controls and the fact that I can connect it to my guitar module with a single cable. The speaker delivers great sound quality at high volumes, making it ideal for live performances. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Coolmusic BP60D 120W Battery Powered Acoustic Guitar Amplifier (especially for the price it got it for).It has exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality and versatility, and I would highly recommend it to any guitar player looking for a powerful and reliable speaker. I love these speakers. I've read some reviews that say they don't put out enough bass, but I'd say it depends on your taste. I find these pump out lots of low end for my needs, and I like my sound LOUD. Their response across a wide frequency range is clean and accurate with no noticeable distortion that I can hear. Most of my music is recorded in lossless. ... show more

  • Good choice
I’ve had my BP60D amp for about a month have used it for small shows and as a stage Monitor. I really like the amp because of its size, power, sound and performance. I’m happy with the lithium battery you’ll have plenty of play time on a charge. Customer service is great. I had a question for the company and contacted them via the provided email and received a prompt reply right away. They also later followed up making sure I was happy with my purchase. Funny thing was when I told my friends about the amp I bought, I learned two of them already had the same amp and were equally happy! ... show more

  • BP60D Great Amp But...
I perform regularly. 1-2 booked gigs a week and busking here and there inbetween. My main amp is a Fender Acoustic SFX II. I bought the BP60D as a monitor / travel amp / back up amp. My overall experience with the BP60D is positive. Its sound is comparable to my Fender. While my Fender sounds warmer, rounder and fuller, the BP60D is more neutral, FRFR. Battery power is very convenient and lasts the amount of time that is advertised. I really like that it has a lot of inputs, that it can be positioned two ways, an amp mute button, and that it has nice volume output. However, I wouldn't count on the chorus effect being sublime. Its reverb does the job if you're just looking for some basic Room reverb. Anything Hall and above you should be using a pedal. EDIT 12.21.2023 - My first BP60D had some issues. After reaching out a couple times to CoolMusic customer service I was able to make contact and was sent a replacement by the Seller. Very cool, thank you! BUT... I've tried communicating that there are several functions that don't work as described in the instruction manual (causing me major stress during several gigs), but all I was told in the end is that this amp isn't for me. Dunno why a Seller would say that to a customer who is just trying to give honest feedback and ask for clarification on functionality, but all good. Outside of music, my background is product design, so maybe I care more than the average person that functions should be correctly stated in an instruction manual. So here's my findings for future buyers to save you some stress: 1. Plugging into AMP IN, SEND/RETURN makes the BP60D a PASSIVE PA. Volume is NOT controlled independently. This is NOT stated in the instruction manual. Otherwise Main Volume control works as intended. 2. If you want to use this as a monitor or active PA, I suggest plugging into GUITAR/MIC inputs. 3. LINE IN produced NO SOUND when going line out from my Fender with an XLR to 1/4" stereo TRS into LINE IN on the BP60D. But it does work with a mono TS. This is NOT stated in the instruction manual. 4. 3.5mm Aux Port is labeled RECORD OUT and the instruction manual can be interpreted to mean that this port outputs sound for recording to another device. IT DOES NOT. It is INPUT ONLY, not bi-directional. The instructions are not clear on this. 5. EDIT 12.23.2023 - I did experience a clicking / knocking sound playing a shaker through my internal MiSi mic right outside my uke's soundhole. This happened at the beginning of the set. This could have been my mic being overdriven or the amp taking time to warm up. I did not experience this when I lowered my mic volume on my pickup for the rest of my 2 hours playing. 6. No comment on the MP3 USB port as I have not used it yet. ... show more
